Busy days, busy week
Having a major headache now because of the rain and my very long day. Meeeehhhh. Anyway let's backtrack and start with...TUESDAY! (20/3/07)Drama practice:
Krystle is prettier in real life. Really. And HOMGZ, don't I look like Jin in the pic above?
Yeah, you're probably thinking, "You wish, Nicole!" Mmmm, no, I wish I look like a cross between Lee Jun Ki at his girliest and Ayase Haruka, but you know we can't always get what we want so moving on...!
I'm wearing a sort of suit thing because I'm playing a man. A father to be exact. A jobless one. And that jacket makes me look fat IMO.
I'm going to pretend to be one of those "nu-rave-fashionable-Japanese-dads-with-funky-hair". My English teacher's words not mine. Maybe I can style myself to the likes of Takuya Kimura? Hey, he's a dad! With funky hair!________________________________________________________________WEDNESDAY (21/3/07)I got to miss school for a whole day (including tuition) for some Young Enterprise workshop thing sponsored by this American company called AMCHAM. We're sponsored by Nestle. Surprisingly it was so much fun!! For once the presenter of the day wasn't boring and didn't ramble on for too long. He was actually funny, articulate, very entertaining and really nice. I think his name was Shaun. The place was in like, somewhere I've never been before. It's still Selangor but in the middle of nowhere (okay, Kesas highway but where is that?!). How embarassing I haven't been to my own backyard.London, Paris, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Shanghai etc etc? YES.Kajang, Klang, Cheras? UHHHH WHERE?!I can tell you how to get from Watford to London in an hour flat. Even tell you the stations you'll pass, where to interchange and even what line to take. From certain stations, I can tell you what buildings you're going to see and the best places to shop. London is like a second home and I can navigate my way around no problem, no map needed. Baker Street? Yup. Picadilly Circus? Yes. Oxford Circus? WOOOHOOO LET'S GO TO TOPSHOP AND HMV!Tell me to go to Klang and I'll give you a blank stare. No wait, let's try nearer. Tell me Old town and New town and I'll tell you I only know Uptown.I blame my parents.Took a few pics before we entered the building. Apparently cameras weren't allowed (don't know why, eeesh!).
Sadly our Chinese teacher was handling the school debate on the same day, so we got Puan Azna instead. She tortured us in the car during our 1 1/2 hour ride to the location by blasting Malay radio. I will never listen to the "Hey Mickey" song the same way again. NEVER. And oh, Malay rap SUCKS but you don't need me to tell you that.
From left: Irina, me, Jamie.
The workshop thing was held in the building of some company as you can see called, "STATS ChipPAC". Don't ask me what they do, walking inside the building seeing all those machines and workers we still couldn't figure out what they manufactured/do. Eventually we concluded they probably manufactured microchips or something and left it at that. Too busy amusing ourselves with "Chippac!" jokes. LOLL. "Jamie, you so chippac one!!" "Irina, don't be so chippac!" "Aiyoh guys faster la, why so CHIPPAC?!"MUAHAHAHAHAHA. Use it people. It could be the newest internet slang invented by us. Sorry STATS ChipPAC, but your name is so LOLWORTHY. Don't sue us :( .The thing was from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. so we did like TONS of fun activities. I'm not going to report about everything. And oh, Sammie! Remember Deborah from Mrs. D's class last year? The one who always ate McDonald's, didn't do her homework (wait, me too!) and sat with the 'smelly' boy? Yeah, she recognised me. Lol.Oh, and we met a group of guys from St. John's. They were so creepy, I noticed one of them kept staring at me. At least he was semi-hot. Everytime we made eye contact he would smile at me. Cause we were in the same team and I was coaching him what to say (some sort of act/skit) we eventually won. He was like, "Nicole, we rock!" and smiled at me.Me: OMG HOW DOES HE KNOW MY NAME? SUPER CREEPY. I DON'T EVEN KNOW HIS!And then all activities after that, we were always in the same group. (even though we kept changing alot)After we left the building we were behind his group trailing after our teacher WAAAAY in front, he was like all, "Bye!" *smiles and waves*How do we know he was smiling and waving at us? We were the last group to leave.Reaction: Errr, bye! ^_^Inside: O_e!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Like I said, at least he's semi-hot. :)No shit man, the way he smiled at me all the time just freaked me out. No, I did not get his number Krystle. Not even his name. I'd like to leave it like that.My teacher is a lazy bugger who won't even send me to One Utama even though she lives in Kota Damansara (nearby!) when I told her to drop me off at the LRT station she say she don't know how to get there. Eventually she let me off at the bus stop in Section 14 (the rest were dropped off at Courts Mammoth, lol). IT WAS RAINING, I WAS FREEZING AND ALONE. My mum couldn't pick me up cause there was a massive jam and thunderstorm so I had to shelter and eat dinner in McDonald's by myself. As well as being the only idiot who clears her tray and wipes the table clean. (what can I say? My parents were McD majors even went to Hamburger Uni in Arizona and Illinois. McD is like, my childhood and LIFE) I didn't get kidnapped/mugged/raped/followed. But I did get a cold._________________________________________________________________
