Of Birthdays and Kazuyaland

The days cannot seem to go by fast enough. One week from now, I'd be one year older, breathing foreign air and keeping my eyes open at all times - hunting. Hunting.

HUNTING FOR KAMENASHI KAZUYA!!!!!!!!

xD

Leaving on Monday (morning or night, I'm not sure), so I will still be in Malaysia on my birthday, just not at home. So to those of you who care (*puppy dog eyes*) you are very much welcome to send me birthday wishes. Birthday wishes make my day. It will make me feel all happy and warm inside and then you will be on my good side and I'll probably have a breakdown and buy you a nice present from Tokyo when really, it should be the other way round. You buying presents for me, I mean. Not you going to to Tokyo. *cough*

Got my host family info today. A nice, normal family of four (lol at Rachel's), one mother, one father and two daughters 10 and 12. Wasn't happy about the fact the daughters were so young and that they were daughters not sons, but hey, NOW MAYBE I CAN FANGIRL WITH THEM THROUGH HAND GESTURES AND BROKEN ENGRISH! *prays they like JE and not, as Kiran put it, Dir En Grey/Mana/Gackt* The kids are called Hitomi and Kana. Aww such cute names. Not as cute as Vivian's though, Eriko and Mariko. So adorable. Reminds me of Nobuta where Kame's girlfriend was called Uehara Mariko. And the actress who played Mariko was called Toda Erika. Erika, Eriko - same thing.

BUT OMFG I CHECKED OUT THEIR ADDRESS AND GODDAMN THEY LIVE BY THE F****CKING MOUNTAINS!!! WHAT THE HELL, I AM GOING TO DIE. PRAY FOR ME. PRAY FOR ME, PEOPLE. PLEASE PRAY THEY TAKE ME TO HARAJUKU. *hopes*

This is the reason why

Ok, for desperate measures I'm going to bring all my FRUiTS mags and tell them how much I idolise Harajuku Girls and Kazuya. Yes, I will speak kindly and politely and excitedly and I will impress them with my fluent (practised) Japanese. It will only consist of two words and I'm pretty sure all who know me, know what they are.

"KAMENASHI KAZUYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!"

A turtle, a pear and a name.

Ok, filler post. Will be posting stuff that's been going on for the past fortnight in the next two days before I go. Document everything, so one day I can smile and say "Wow, was I really that mad?"

Tomorrow: Daddy back from Korea! GOODIES AHOY!

Panic (rant)

It's like the panic hasn't set in. And for the first time during my school years, I'm absolutely terrified for my English paper. I need to keep my head out of the gutter. I need to get off this computer. I need to resist the lure and start learning to concentrate once again. When will the seriousness set in?

When will I ever learn to stick to my morals and goals? When someone new comes up it's always thrown out the window and I sacrifice myself. It's like the fortress has been destroyed and the walls come down. And then when we're done I'm left with an empty shell full of what might-have-been's and I-should-have's. I hate myself for sacrificing everything and need to fully realise the meaning of "don't put too many eggs in one basket."

Or it could just be the exam tension. I don't know what to think anymore. Those walls better come back or I'm not opening up anytime soon for anyone new.

I'm so scared for my English paper I don't know what to do. I try to study Sejarah but nothing's going in. English used to be a breeze, full of ideas and now...I'm blank. I'm so far gone now, I've been running on empty.

Someone shoot me on the foot. But you know, the wounds heal and hopefully I'll be better again.

Procrastination Comme Moi

When you're a procrastinator, your idea of studying for English is reading well-written smut and memorising the words you don't understand so you can look them up later and use them for your exam and try to imply something in an otherwise innocent school English essay.

Comme moi.

It's either that or articulate fashion blogs. Which are very useful anyway since you can learn so many new words to describe clothes. BTW, totally loving some of the designs from the new Lily Loves (as in Lily Allen, the singer) for New Look line. True, there were some granny-esque designs, but it's still gorge. Definitely going to check it out when my mum might be going for her jaunt to London end of the month.

'Nicole, why you buying a dress when you already bought so many from Forever 21 and I haven't seen you wear them once?'

Well, duh. "It's Lily Loves from New Look. You can't get it in Malaysia." *insert big smirk; swishes skirt* Like Sammie says, "You are SO brand concious (and that dress is so ugly)."

Yup, I know. Comme moi. (lol, j/k)

Ok, going to read more fics for inspiration. I fear my English is going to deteriorate even more now that I've downloaded this Japanese to English translation extension for Firefox. LIKE WOAH SUPER BONUS. I can read Japanese sites and actually understand them now.

Oh God, I can't stop watching Ya-ya-yah's TV show and why did Hikaru have to name his song 'Gentles'? It sounds like 'Genitals' and I can't stop laughing at it. It's basically the same half the time. Walk around, prepare food, cook food, eat food.

I want to be an inanimate object//HAC

Hari Anugerah Cemerlang or Prize-Giving Day is this Saturday. Am I excited? No. I don't want the cert/trophy/medal or whatever you're giving me, just give me the money you used to make such a useless product.

On another note:
OMG I WANT TO BE A POLE. A STRIPPER'S POLE. I WANT KAZUYA TO GRIND HIS ASS AGAINST ME PLZ.

______________________________________________________________
Quote from someone's LJ I stumbled over:

"The thing you have to understand about JE boybands is that it's not just about the music. And I don't mean that in a "their vaguely synchronized dancing is so much MORE, it touches my SOUL," way, I mean, literally, there's a fucktron more to it -- they're not just singers, they're bred and groomed to be full-time, all-around entertainers, so in addition to albums and videos and etc etc you've also got concerts, stage productions, interviews, DVDs, TV skits and segments and performances, hosting and producing variety shows, music shows, radio shows, let's get mauled by exotic wildlife shows, starring roles in dramas, movies, commercials, appearing in monthly magazines and on really big billboards. These guys sing and dance and act and endorse and do backflips. They do it all in shiny costumes while touching each other.

Now, multiply all that and give it to a large number of bands, with anywhere from two to eight members each."

GOD BLESS JAPAN. I LOVE MY FANDOM.

You know what, I want to be a chair too. Sweaty, smiling, half-naked Kazuya lying his perfect smooth cheek on my seat. Look at that look of content.

What, another pointless post about me flailing at Kazuya. Oh...NEVERMIND. Fashion related topics soon.
