Gone Baby Gone.

It's nearly the end of 2007 and Amen to that! 2007 was definitely a year of change for me, and I bet most of my friends can say that too. 2007 was the year I experience the BEST days of my life and some of the worst.

Best of 2007:
1. Japan homestay. :D
2. Fangirling with a REAL Japanese schoolgirl. (over Kazuya of course)
3. DBSK concert. x3 x3
4. Making good new friends, making up with the good old ones and losing the bad apples.
5. Self-teaching myself languages. I taught myself how to read Japanese and a little Korean.
6. Freedom of Form 4. With the exception of Add Maths.
7. Watching Jdoramas.
8. Discovering KAT-TUN, Super Junior, DBSK, Arashi, NEWS, Kanjani8, F.T. Island, Wonder Girls etc, etc.
9. "Tell Me" dance. :D
10. My aunties and uncles. Especially my uncle. Christmas this year was fun.♥♥

Of course, none of these would be achieved without KAMENASHI KAZUYA. THANK YOU BB FOR WIDENING MY OUTLOOK IN LIFE.

Worst of 2007:
1. My camera lens getting smashed. Thus rendering it, broken.
2. Getting robbed outside my house.
3. Knocking over that motorcyclist outside my teacher's house before tuition.
4. Losing my contact lens in Fukushima.
5. The brick through Sammie's roof. Scary, but really funny at the same time.
6. Getting sick ALOT of times this year. Mainly because of food poisoning.
7. Failing in school subjects since a long time. D:<

This year I was mostly a loner, and plagued by a lot of bad luck. The year eventually got a little better towards November/December.

I didn't go to the mall as much this year as I did in 2006. I didn't watch as many movies as I did in 2006. But I definitely watched more dramas (Asian ones) this year. I'm more tolerable towards my country and I'm definitely so pro-Asian these days it's like, "America, what? Who cares, Korea/Japan FTW".

Thank you Kazuya for giving me such a wonderful fulfilling life and changing my life's perspective for the better, forever. May you have a wonderful new year and EVERYBODY GO EAT A PROSPERITY BURGER YEAH. And Mily, don't wish for sickness, be healthy bb ilu . :D

Right, went out with my Aunt and mother on Thursday (27 Dec) to OU for lunch. We also had dinner at Shogun. It was...okay. Jogoya is much better. Went with Sammie to Brandon's house to play Silent Hill 2 on Friday (28 Dec) . And thanks to that game I now have dreams of Pyramid Head during the night. And thanks to Brandon, the part where Pyramid Head slices James to death with his huge-ass sword still stays in my mind. This bit makes me laugh:

*watches scene*
B: "OMG THEY (PYRAMIDHEAD) ARE HAVING SEX!"
S: "He's eating the other zombies. Shut up!"

I played the Sims 2 the whole day on Saturday and now here I am on Sunday night blogging about crap and talking about crap with Mily. I love how we can talk about Hannah Montana without her hating on me. Yey.

Am I satisfied? I guess.

LET'S GO KL AND DANCE

WHO WANTS TO GO KL WITH ME, Y/Y? :D

OMG OMG REALLY EVERYONE MUST WATCH THIS. I know I've posted up so many videos but this one is like really GOLD! It features our one and only Negaraku! (the country not the song)

It starts with Eun Hyuk saying some random rap that sounds like Thai (but is Korean) and then we flip to Super Junior dancing on the streets of KL next to a construction site, no less! (looks like Bukit Bintang, near KL Plaza by Lecka Lecka gelato shop, must remember 2006 Pavillion wasn't there)

And then HEE CHUL OPPA sings! And he's walking down some parking lot (aha, our views not good enough) and then Si Won comes on strolling around a mosque, and Han Kyung, guess where Han Kyung is...KLCC Outdoor Park. And so we flip back to several members all walking along Bukit Bintang outside Lot 10 area with McDonald's opposite.

Then we get to Dong Hae and he's dancing inside Star Hill mall! Some of them are even by the themed restaurants as "scenery".

Is it me or are the only attractions of Malaysia only the Twin Towers, malls and the occasional mosque? -_-;;

Either way the whole video makes me want to KICK MYSELF for not liking SuJu earlier. Why. Why. Whyyyyyy lah couldn't I discover them at least 1 year earlier?! I remember my uncle last year mentioning something about a boyband filming in KL and there was some traffic jam. I paid no him no mind and must have yakked about MCR or Fall Out Boy or some delinquent American band I liked back then. Besides, if I like SuJu last year I could've gone for the DBSK concert where the tickets were CHEAPER and there were LESS PEOPLE. Therefore MORE CHANCE for me to hold Hee Chul's hand/have eye-contact with JaeJoong SEE THEM UP CLOSE.

So the whole thing was filmed during end of June/early July 2006. What in the bloody hell was I doing instead of being in KL?! I went to my old blog and found this:

28 JUNE 2006

WHAT THE HELL. I WOULD GIVE UP SEEING SHENG LI IN A SKIRT AND HEELS JUST SO I CAN GO TO KL AND WATCH THEM SHOOT THEIR VIDEO THERE.

Who knows, if I screamed and shouted and held posters Hee Chul might feel so welcomed to Malaysia that he'll come over and shake my hand/take photos with me. :( It's true, he did that to some random fans, I saw it in the making of "Boys in City, KL" and "Making of Dancing Out in KL". WHY WHY WHY

In the words of Chullie: "I'M VERY SAAAAAD!" ;_;
I hate myself.
BTW
: watch 2:37 of the vid, KyuhYun does something really cute. :D

Happy Christmas loves~

Happy Christmas, loves.

May you receive whatever you wished/asked/begged for. :) I certainly didn't

________________________________

Past few days I have been "mall-ratting". Saturday was spent with my mother and uncle for lunch in OU. Disaster nearly struck when I saw my most hated and most disliked teacher walking towards me outside THEFACESHOP. Urgh, it was Puan S_b_na our Eng Lit. and drama teacher. -_-;. To make things worse when I greeted her politely, she ignored me! What a fucking cow. No wonder Kiran suspects she's menopausal. Then I went over to Sammie's and we watched National Treasure 1. Because it makes me feel smart.

Sunday was spent with Sammie and Emmy (whoa, they rhyme). Shengy was also supposed to come (omg she rhymes too!) but she was busy. We watched National Treasure 2 and...

IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME TYVM. Even better than the first movie. And I watched that one 5 times. It was exciting, educational with a believable plot and a baddie that you REALLY will start to hate. Jesus Christ, the bad guy was so freaking annoying, I can't believe Emily actually sympathised with him towards the end. Weirdo.

Monday went to the Curve with mother and Sammie's granny. MNG had a sale with 50% off. Enough said really.

Today was Christmas and I had a wonderful time shopping, eating and walking around and good dessert for dinner with relatives who came back from Kuching, London and Singapore. Spent quite an afternoon showing my uncle all the "Tell Me" videos and Wonder Girls stuff.
Tell me, tell me, te-te-te-te-te-tell me! :D :D :D

I am a Japanese Schoolgirl

I was a Japanese schoolgirl for a day, and now I am a Japanese schoolgirl again for a night. :D Went to Amira's (from the Japan trip) birthday party on Dec 15. The theme was Harajuku. Because I am poor and own no Japanese clothes which are expensive as heck (esp: Takuya Angel, my fave! Anyone who reads Shoichi Aoki's FRUiTS streetstyle photobooks would know) I rip open my Seventeen's for ideas.

The inspiration:
(ignore the 'Potter sheets, srsly)

The result:

Sweater: MNG
White shirt: WH
Tartan skirt with lace: iSocks Times Square (omg lala heaven -_-)
Ribbon (around neck): Armarium YE product all cut up
Pirate boots: ZARA (50% off!! xD)
Aliceband (on head): Handmade

Note to self: Seriously need to hunt down black knee socks.

Anyway, true to Malaysian spirit, nearly almost everybody there wasn't in costume save for a few people like the birthday girl, myself, 3 other girls (one in half a yukata!) and one boy in decora style. :P

Come on people, at least be sporting lah! What the hell. That's why I hate going to costume parties in Malaysia, nearly almost everyone NEVER complies with the dresscode. They think it's HUMILIATING. Party poopers. Part of the fun is embarrassing yourself don't you know? That way, everyone can have fun. Jesus Christ.

With partner in crime: ALE! Schoolgirl and schoolboy. :D Lol, I love this pic.

With the birthday girl. Otanjou-bi Omedetou Gozaimasu!

My aunty arrive a day earlier. xD TOPSHOP IS MAJOR HAPPINESS. And watching an ang moh eat with chopsticks is major LOL itself.

My Hero

*sniff* I don't normally watch singing talent shows (Example: Pop Idol, American Idol, Fame Academy) because they are useless and UTTER CRAP. They go all hyprocritical and say things like, "Oooh, it's all about the singer's voice and not his/her looks."

RUBBISH.

Nobody in his or her right mind would support an ugly idol. Because that's what most singers are: idols. For example, who remembers American Idol's season 2 winner? Anyone?

The answer is Ruben Studdard. And you know why he's not famous/not as well known as say...Kelly Clarkson? I'll tell you why.

BECAUSE HE IS FAT.

Of course. :) Now, yesterday I was watching WA!TV on Astro (Ikr, Nicole watching a China channel, the world has seriously come to an end), and this program "My Hero 2007" was on. Synopsis said it had something to with separating the "men" from the "boys" whatever that means. Anyway it was showing a sing-off between two guys, and one particularly caught my eye... (sorry for the terrible shot, he seriously looks better onscreen -_-;;)

WAH HE WAS SO GOOD. And I'm not saying it because he is good looking. BUT WOW, TALENT AND LOOKS, *keyboard mashes*. Then I screamed at my mother to translate for me whatever the hell they were talking about and it turns out he's Korean! Speaking Mandarin! So FLUENTLY.

I AM SO EMBARASSED.

Talent, looks and multi-lingual skills! NOT BAD. My ideal guy really, hahaha.

Pointless really.

This morning I was bored so I got out our old (dusty) Christmas tree and set it up. Yeah, even in a house of atheists/freethinkers we do have a tree you know. And if you're wondering why it's so short it's because as my mother puts it, "Back then ah in Malaysia we did not sell these kinds of things. So when mummy and daddy went to Hong Kong, I was so happy to see a Watson's shop (Malaysia back then, also don't have) that I decided to buy and hand carry this tree home."

What sane person does these kinds of things I ask you. One, for being so excited over a Watson's (my GOD), and Two for hand carrying a bloody tree home.

Anyway, my Aunty is arriving day after tomorrow with her ang moh husband and he'll probably appreciate the fact that we put up a tree for him to make him feel at home. So there.

Yeah shitty cameraphone pics. -_- Mum wanted to send 'em to relatives. I WANT MY CAMERA FIXED. :'(

P.S.// Don't go to the Canon shop in The Curve, PJ. The fucking Malay guy there is so unhelpful and really asshole-y. He truly doesn't know the meaning of 'Customer Service'. FIRE HIM.

Hee Chul Oppa//Tell Me dance

Went out with Ines, Kiran and Ale to OU today. Usual spectacle, arrived late and had to run around cinemas looking for Kiran. xD And oh yes, the friends were introduced to Sammie's Groovy Grandmother in the car. My friends know her just as Sammie's friends do, lol.

We watched The Heartbreak Kid, and just to save everyone some money, DON'T WATCH IT unless you really enjoy dumb blondes, predictable love plots, redneck Americans and lots of sex jokes. I think they did a really bad job censoring this movie, but hey I enjoy sex jokes just as much the Grandpa in front of me. :) After that we took PURIKURA!! And had Carl's Jr. for dinner. Yum.

Met up with Ines's mum and we hung around Ines' new hourse for abit doing "yoga". HAHA. Her new house is really smashing, it's big with lots of space with an indoor fish pond for us to torture fishes.

And that's pretty much what I did today. Going out with my uncle tomorrow (OMYGOODNESS YAY!) I seem to pretty much look forward to hanging out with my uncle all the time, am I the only one? I have a cool oppa don't you all forget it. ;D

__________________________________________

Besides being lame at home, I have dedicated my mind, body and soul to learn the new dance that's taken Korea by storm. It goes by the name of the "Tell Me" dance. Lol. "Tell Me" by Wonder Girls. (Yeah, don't ask about the name) Examples:

Tell Me - Wonder Girls

Hee Chul's version (Saw this on KBSWorld on Astro the other day xD) Around 0:53 he does this EXTREMELY CUTE Face gesture! OMG so cute! And he teaches the announcer to do pelvic thrusts from SuJu's "Don't Don" video! ABSOLUTE WIN!

BTW: Kim Hee Chul is a member of the 13 (yes, 13) member boyband, Super Junior. He's the second prettiest (1 belonging to Jae Joong) Korean dude I've ever seen and the number 1 most funniest person I've ever watched. Totally! Go to YouTube and search "Kim Hee Chul" and click on anything with Ya Shim Man Man, Golden Fishery or even Xman for a full dose of LULZ. *sigh* Beauty AND personality.

PURIKURA!! x3 Did this myself. Note the poor cut and paste between me and Kazu.

Babo Sarang

Take back what I said in the last post. I wasn't feeling right. Watching too much "Dangyunhaji" and old men dancing to Wonder Girls does take a toll on one's sanity.

Hmm. *hums "Tell Me" by Wonder Girls*

OH GAWD, guilty pleasure. PURIKURA TOMORRRROOOOOWWWWWWWWW. Got invited to Amira's HARAJUKU themed party last night. I'm gonna go as a kogal. ;D Or...a super slutty non-blonde ganguro. Or...decora? OR! I could wear a kigurumi. ^_^

KIGURUMI. HEHEHEHEHE

KL IS HEAVEN

*Screams*

Click this

I knew Super Junior came to Malaysia last year with DBSK but I didn't think that they would actually hold a photoshoot in KL and DEDICATE A WHOLE PHOTOBOOK TO IT.

WOW, I don't care how much it costs, I'm going to beg, buy or steal this goddamn book and take photos in all the places they went.

It's amazing. I see these pics and suddenly I WANT TO GO TO KL. I don't even like KL. I hated it cause my mum and dad worked there everyday and my uncle was working in Isetan Lot 10 and I remember going downtown everyday as a kid and eating in the McDonald's as shown in those pics. Then my mother stopped working and my uncle moved to KLCC.

I NEVER thought I would say this, and you wouldn't catch me dead saying this last year or those years I dedicated to being an Anglophile but now...

I (kinda) LOVE MALAYSIA!

My dad told me this would happen one day. The day I would stop worshiping Westerners so much and finally realise how wonderful it is to be Asian. I was stupid then, saying "NO, NEVER." But you know what, I take it all back. I'M GOING TO BUY THIS BOOK AND CRY AND SCREAM/FANGIRL OVER IT.

I just thought this over and you know I should be thankful to for converting me into a true blue Asian idol worshiper? KAMENASHI KAZUYA. Nobuta wo Produce changed my life and made me look into Japanese bands, then Korean bands then even now *gasp* Thai bands (more about this some other time). Ok no, I liked Dong Bang Shin Ki since 2006 so that's something else. BUT, Kazuya made me like DBSK even more! And Super Junior made me love Koreans.

But when it all comes down to it, I guess I should thank my uncle (the best person in the world) for even giving me the Nobuta wo Produce DVD in the first place. Right, I'm going off now to call my dad in Mongolia and tell him to try and get me this photobook in Korea (airport transit) before he comes back on the 12th. YEAH! SUPER JUNIOR FIGHTING!

*chants* Boys in City, Kuala Lumpur Photobook....homghomg

I wasn't like this before really! And I never said this blog made much sense anyway.
