Best 3 Hours of My Life

I know I said the day I went to Higashi High School was the best day of my life. Well between 8.00 p.m. till 11.00 p.m. on the 24 November 2007 is officially the best 3 hours of my life. For one thing, it marked my first time at a concert, (Yeah, yeah I live under a rock, don't make fun) and another it confirmed to me that KIM JAE JOONG IS A GOD.

No shit seriously. But we'll get back to that later. :)

[Warning: you are about to read fangirlism. Prepare for moments of...lunacy]
___________________________

Started the day with Mandarin class at 9.30. Ate lunch and came home around 12. Went to Dharu's around 3. We talked, listened to DBSK (of course :D) and waited for Wen Chian. Wen Chian arrived around 4 and we left at about 4.40 p.m. Arrived at Stadium Merdeka at 5.00 p.m. and this is what greeted us:

I swear I've never seen so many fucking people in my life. This was like Shibuya station except unair-conditioned and majority of the people were wearing red. If you're wondering, red is the colour of DBSK's fan club Cassiopeia. I did not wear red but instead Sammie's blue top : )

So first off, we walked around and hunted for member uchiwas (paper fans) that some people were carrying. I tell you ah, these Koreans already cheated me out of RM500 now they want to cheat me RM50 for a T-Shirt, RM65 for a bloody photobook and God knows what else. Apparently we got to the stall too late and all the uchiwas were sold out. All that was left were balloons and that was RM7.00. RM7.00 for two fucking balloons with the words 'TVXQ' printed on it? NO FUCKING THANKS.

At this point I was hot, tired and disappointed. So we got in line (pit left) and I saw the DBSG@ LJ community gathering and greeted everyone. Got back in line and met these two girls who were really nice. One was called Wai Sum and the other was Siew Ling. Siew Ling was from Raffles College and Wai Sum was from SMK BU4. We kinda stood there and chatted about DBSK, Rain, Daniel Henney and a lot of other stupid topics.

By 6.30 p.m. the doors opened and it was MADNESS. MADNESS. We were somewhere up front and already planned beforehand where we wanted to stand so after getting our tickets checked, we RAN, RAN, RAN into the stadium. Got there and pushed our way somehow, somewhere near the front, next to the barriers as planned. xD

Waiting from 6.30 to 8.00 while standing is no easy feat especially if it's HOT, OPEN AIR, and there are LOTS OF SWEATY people around you. We met sooo many people, from Indonesia, from China, from Singapore and even Vietnam. Dharu went a bit crazy hearing that and the fact that these two girls from Ipoh actually stayed OVERNIGHT outside the stadium since 11.00 p.m. Day turned into night, and we were STILL WAITING. -_-

And finally around 8.05 p.m. or so, AMAZINGLY DBSK WERE ON TIME!! There were sirens, there were spotlights, there were screams and then everything went black. The screen was showing this intro video with them holding swords and stuff being samurai/LOTR whatever and this screen from the top of the stage fell to reveal....well, duh.

Cue screaming, suddenly just when we thought they were just going to stand there, BAM! The first thing I saw was Hero's (Jae Joong) blonde head emerging from the ground in a black and silver outfit jumping onto the stage with fireworks everywhere. Needless to say, I hyperventilated, screamed my head off, pushed the girl in front of me and started jumping like a crazy woman.

And. Nobody. Gave. A. Shit.

I'm not quite sure what songs they were performing, (cause seriously, who was listening anyway?!), but I can tell you this: they weren't singing for the first 3 songs. It was pretty obvious that they were lip-syncing. They were wearing no mikes. But who cares, I don't give a damn. Too busy staring at Jae Joong. xD Halfway through the second song though Wen Chian asked me something:

"Eh, where is U-Know?!!!!!!"

Me: "U-Know not there meh?"

xD Apparently he broke his back and couldn't dance. Not that I care. Too busy looking at ChangMinnie's pit hair.....

Random: All of them seemed to have clean shaven pits except ChangMin. TMI? Trust me to observe such things. ^__^

Finally, U-Know comes out and finally, they do sing live. See, they CAN sing. They just can't sing and dance. Lip-sync or no I love youuuuuu~ I'm not sure what they sang, I think it was My Little Princess.

Then there were solo perfs and Jun Su came out TOWARDS THE END IT RAINED. OMFG IT RAINED ON XIAH AND HIS CLOTHES CLUNG TO HIS BODY AND HE PASSED RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY EYES ALL WET AND DRIPPING AND BURST INTO DANCE ALL OVER AGAIN IT WAS SO SEXY FOR THE FIRST TIME I THOUGH XIAH WAS SO HOT. X_X

This pic below is a big white blur. Actually, the big white blur is actually Jae Joong performing his solo, but due to my camera phone and bright spotlights.....yeah. :(
YunHo sang my favourite song of his. OMG RIGHT NICOLE LIKING A YUNHO SONG?! He sang "Spokesman" which is a rap song and in its original performed with my favourite Super Junior member LEE DONG HAE. Unfortunately Dong Hae wasn't there but some unknown dude. Who till this day, us fans have no fucking idea who. At one point U-Know was singing the rap parts and the crowd was supposed to follow. Funny this was it was all in Korean so everyone was like, "BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH SOMETHING YO!" "LALALALALLAA SOMETHING DA!" "kdnlskadnklasdjsklajdlakjd GI!"

Dong Hae: -->

Then Micky sang some song and it took me awhile to realise he was actually singing in ENGRISH. Ho. Ho. I loved Max's solo the best though. It was all jazzy and sexy cause he was caressing this girl onstage and stuff. It was really...lusty.

And then they came out to perform my favourite song. "O" Jung. Ban. Hap. Holy fuck holy fuck. They were wearing these war/military inspired costumes and Micky was wearing this long sleeved green shirt that was SLASHED in the front with GOLD TASSELS hanging down from it. At one point he came so close we could see his ERECT NIPPLES. It was the hottest thing I ever saw in my life. And Chang Min's cleavage, woah, who could forget that. And during the last bit with the extended music bits Jae did this AMAZING BODY WAVE (salsa term for shaking his ass and body) and it was at that point I nearly fainted and got dizzy (true story).

LOOK! IT'S JAEJOONG!! I actually had an awesome pic of him on my phone and WE HAD EYE CONTACT!!!! But just as I was to snap he skipped past. :( Thus resulting in blurred photo. Can't remember what song they were performing.

Micky in a car!

Ooooh, the pic below was some of the most awesome bits. They all came out wearing long white...robes. And then got onto this huge platform that could rotate and elevate. It was pretty amazing cause they were elevating and singing towards the spotlights and at one point it looked like they were angels in the sky singing. *cue fangirl noise*
You notice the pic is kinda one sided because I only wanted to snap Jae and Chang Minnie. :D

Towards the end. Oh, this was the best bit. And I think this is the best photo I took the whole night. Anyway after they made their speeches and everything each of them held up bottles of water to drink. Micky just so happened to be nearby so he took one swig of his and...and...and...

SPRAYED IT ALL OVER US.

Next thing I knew, it was like my right cheek and shoulder was being baptised by Micky. Like Wen Chian calls it, HOLY WATER. Think of it, my skin particles have now mixed and collided with DNA/saliva particles from Micky's own spit. OHHH THE JOY. Oh the miracle healing powers it shall have on my body. xD xD And where was Jae Joong? If only he moved a little more to the left I would have been sprayed by him too >:(

After Balloons, they sang Hi Ya Ya and some other song as the encore. I think throughout the whole concert 70% of my time was dedicated to staring at Jae Joong and Chang Min and 30% fangirling over everyone else. My god, Micky, when did you get so hot? You cut your hair, you buffed up and then you flash us your nipples. WHAT HAPPENED.

And don't get me started on Jae. At one point he came really close to where we were standing and as Dharu puts it, WE WERE PRACTICALLY BREATHING THE SAME AIR AS THEM. I could see the outline of Jae's perfect nose, his lips, the roots of his hair, and THAT FLAWLESS SKIN MY GOD.

No man should have such as flawless as his, seriously. D: WHY YOU SO PERFECT HERO KIM JAE JOONG?

Ok, I'm tired of fangirling. Too lazy to write up everything that happened. Everything else can stay locked up in my memories and in my DBSK diary. :P I'm satisfied with the RM500+ I spent on these boys. RM100 for each member well worth it. And not to mention, their back up dancers were cute. ;D From seeing my idols perform my favourite songs "O", and Rising Sun, Balloons, and Miduhyo, I am damn satisfied and if they come next year bearing RM1 000+ tickets, I'm not going to hesitate. :3 :3 O

Unless KAT-TUN comes lah. :D

At this point, all I can say is: BEYOND AMAZING. It was a surreal out-of-body experience that I would love to repeat again. And that's all I will say for now cause I'm still hyperventilating and in awe at their.....HOTNESS.

HELLO JAE, HERE I COME. :B

Why hellloooooooo my pretty. >:B
Aren't you a beautiful piece of RM500 paper? Aren't you? Aren't you? I LOVE YOU. *coos*
_______________________________

I bought my first pair of skinny jeans in TopShop today. They're black and skinny fit and oh-so-pretty. Now I need to find a nice GLITTERY top to wear to the concert. Lawl. I think I'm going to borrow this white sequinned glittery top from Sammie and wash it and put it back before she comes home. AHAHAHAHAHA. You did not read this.

Replacement Mandarin class early tomorrow morning so I'm going to watch some Hannah Montana (What? Don't judge me), read my latest Teen Vogue (this magazine is getting harder and fucking HARDER to find) and fall asleep thinking of Kazuya and Jae. Hmmm.

4 MORE DAYS!

This Love Is Serious...NOT

Was at the Curve today because I wanted to go to Borders for free reading. (Seriously, RM63.90 for a bloody book? BLASPHEMY!) Was wandering around while my mother shopped in Tesco when I happened on this:

HOLY COW Harajuku Lovers?!?!
For those of you not in the know, Harajuku Lovers is the brainchild of Ms. Gwen Stefani along with Love. Angel. Music. Baby. A clothing line of sorts, along with bags and shoes and other items of fashion that most of you would not care about.

What's a girl to do? BUY OBVIOUSLY. Do you know the hours I've spent online just drooling over her clothes? I'm no big fan of Gwen musically, but fashion-wise, SHE IS A STYLE GURU. And the best part? Each shirt only costs RM29.90

With a bargain like that, I'm definitely not revealing the place I bought these glorious shirts, but then again with that price there's only one shop in the Curve that sells legit brands for a cheap price. What a bargain, what a bargain I tell you! I'm definitely going back to buy the rest of the designs on sale. ♥♥♥♥

Reminds me of the first time I went for Accounts tuition and sat next to this girl with a funky pencilbox. I was about to compliment her on it when I suddenly saw the brand emblazoned across it: L.A.M.B.

Me: "OMG I LOVE YOUR PENCILBOX. IS IT L.A.M.B. BY GWEN STEFANI?!"
Girl (whose name turned out to be Sophia) : "Thanks! Yeah, it is."
Me: "Holy crap, where did you buy it?!?!?!"
Sophia: "U.S."
Me: "Oh darn. I love love love your pencil box! May I touch it?" (I know I'm such a creep)
Sophia: "Yeah sure. You know, I've had this pencilbox for quite awhile but you're the first person to notice it's L.A.M.B.."

Hmmm, don't know whether she meant that as a compliment or not but - I felt very flattered. :3
You can say that after that, we were good friends throughout the year. Too bad I won't be seeing her again next year. :(

I love Kame and I'm betraying him by posting Jin right now but HELLO- look at this! Can we say H.O.T.?!

To make up for tainting my blog with Jin, here's Jae Joong half-naked. To think I will be seeing this body up close and submerged in water in a few more days....*faint*

All Systems Go

After I thought things were going downhill, Dharu came out of nowhere and asked me if I wanted to go with her to the Dong Bang Shin Ki concert. YES! YES! YES! Just a few days back, my father actually volunteered himself to go with me, but man 16 years old and going to her first concert with her FATHER? No. Way uncool. It may be DBSK but I wasn't that desperate - yet.

We'll be going for the RM500 one and Dharu has so courteously invited me to sleepover at her house after the concert. I can't wait.

Speaking of Korea and Koreans, father is going to Mongolia via Seoul again! At first he was supposed to fly by Korea Airlines on Nov 26- the exact date DBSK leaves KL, but alas my father is not fated to fly the same aircraft as beloved Jae Joong. Ha. Thus he is leaving Nov 23 and I have given him a list of things I want:

1. JUNIOR magazine
2. Vogue Girl Korea magazine (Lol, US version is TeenVogue - sounds better)
3. Elle Girl Korea magazine
4. Photo of Dong-Dae-Mun market (Korean version of Harajuku)

You'd be surprised, but Vogue Girl and Elle Girl Korea are actually really good publications. Fashion editorial wise, it's definitely much better than say, Elle Girl Taiwan. More expensive maybe, (EGK in Malaysia is selling in Kinokuniya for RM45.90 while EGT is selling for RM6.00) but worth it. Kinokuniya is over inflating the prices lah, RM45.90 for a bloody magazine. Even Japanese mags ViVi and S Cawaii don't cost that much.

Life is looking up, but it's still sucky mind you. Now that Sammie is gone, I gots no one to play Sly Cooper with. :(

F is for Feeling Good, Fashion and For Not Being A Sore Loser

When I'm down in the dumps, I open a fashion magazine or browse the FRUiTS community and I immediately feel better. When that doesn't work, I throw open my closet and start planning outfits because I can. Somehow, looking at clothes is my therapy. Some people eat when they're stressed, I buy fashion magazines.

YE Awards were today. Woke up at 6.45am to get to school by 7.20 am so we could arrive at Federal Hotel on time. It was a stupid event anyway, Damansara Utama and Tropicana kinda just swept everything so the only thing we won was the Best Teamwork award. HAH. Whatever. Oh, and Subang Utama is a noisy school. I hate them and their bad English.

And DU's annual report? WE WERE SO ROBBED. Motherfuckers, our Annual Report was the best and the goddamn judges were just too blind to see it. Serious, I'm not being prejudiced or biased but what's done is done.

Met the US Ambassador as well. I had a handshake and a conversation with him. And that, is my five minutes of fame. LAWL.

Sammie's leaving for Rome tonight! :D :D :D && we talked about obese people before she left. She told me this show she watched on TV where this 750 pound guy asked his nurse out while she washed the folds on his back. I feel nauseous just thinking about it. ((Obviously, she turned him down))

Lastly:
Sammie, MIU MIU DELAVE TOTE PLZ.

Keep the Faith

Call me biased but I don't care man, oh em gee KAT-TUN's new song is single is totally freaking AWESOME!

Srsly, I'm not being biased, it really is that nice! NEWS' new song "Weeek" was so bloody disappointing after everyone's fangirling but KAT-TUN, ah KAT-TUN never fails to put a smile on my face no matter how depressed or sad I am. I'll never get bored watching them.
So everyone interested, I know I'm late but I give KAT-TUN's "Keep the Faith" 5 GLITTERING STARS PLUS STARDUST (LAWL.Remember the hot dad Sammie?)
K-A-T-T-U-N FOR THE WIN. Dammit, this song is as good as Tackey and Tsuabasa's "SAMURAI". I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this song. And they're looking their best in this video with all the tartan 'skirts' and everything, very Vivienne Westwood meets boybands if I say so myself.

Talking about that I bought the newest Seventeen Japan mag in Kinokuniya today and surprise surprise I open it and who do I see? KAZUYA! Advertising the Rohto lipbalm I was hunting around Fukushima and Tokyo for but never found. Motherfuckers I tell you. When I'm not there they come up with a new product. When I'm there, they must tear down Kazuya's huge poster from Shibuya 109 and not sell anything KAT-TUN related. Stupidstupidstupid. My cursed life.
There was an article about Jin and Yamapi's monthly column as well. I don't know enough to understand what they say but I definitely understand enough to know the fashion they feature in that mag. :)
I will always speak the language of fashion.

The new Kinokuniya is quite nice. Wasn't fancy-schmancy or anything but it's definitely brighter than before and there's more variety in terms of magazines now. We're finally selling Jelly and Kera magazines! And they have the new Arashi Got photobook and the latest FRUiTS plus the photobooks AND THE LATEST TOKYO STREETSTYLE HANDBOOK. I really want that, but it costs like RM200+. OH AND THEY FINALLY SELL AN-AN MAGAZINE! *drool* Yeah, so I accompanied my uncle while he bought novels and coffee table books that no one else in the family will be able to read. Ho hum. Oh and go check out the new Isetan KLCC Christmas deco. My uncle's doing it. :D

And since this post was pretty much just text and really pointless, here's a delicious pic of Kame that's very easy on the eyes. MMMHHHMMMM. (Note: That's a Dolce&Gabanna sweater btw. :O :O )

Be Kind, Rewind & the Motorcycle Diaries

OMG MY INTERNET IS BACK.

Since yesterday anyway.

Let's see, what have I done since Douglet (my computer) got struck by the evil lightning? Well for one I went to Bangkok, Thailand (pics sometime), celebrated and helped organise my cousin's 6th birthday party and spent alot of time basically mooching around the house and/or going over to Sammie's. Oh yes, muchos gracias to Sammie for her wonderful hospitality by letting me use her computer and playing the koala during our Sly Cooper sessions on her PS2 during those lazy weekday afternoons when all our friends are either working or lazing around at home.

Just think, in just a few days gone are our lazy Playstation afternoons and on Friday you'll be on a plane to Bella Italia! You'll be walking the Spanish Steps in Rome, eating gelato while sitting on a gondola in Venice and taking pictures of that crooked building in Pisa. I'm not going and I'm already excited, lol.

Beijing trip has been cancelled due to the fact my father can't get tickets. Stupid Olympics. So now we're either going back to Kuching or visiting my aunty in Singapore. OH!!! My aunty from London is coming to visit during December, YAY YAY YAY. Do you know what this means?

KATE MOSS FOR TOPSHOP CLOTHES. GILES DEACON FOR NEW LOOK CLOTHES. SOME CELEBRITY FOR H&M CLOTHES.

I would be the most stylish person this side of Petaling Jaya. MUAHAHAHAHA.

Ok. 12 November 2007
This date was a milestone in the 16 uear life of Nicole Yeong. I, Nicole Yeong have officially
fulfilled one of my life missions: Riding a motorcycle. Lots of thanks to Jamie Lim for the ride and not hitting me when I screamed when you accelerated up that hill near the Taman Jaya LRT station. Gee, thanks for being considerate over my life.

13 November 2007
Murphy's Law states that when you want something NOT to happen, it happens. Went to One U today, disaster struck when I was lunching in Dragon-i. Stupid dumpling fell on my white skirt thus staining it. RARWRRRRRRR. While I was practically running to WH to buy a new (cheap) skirt, I met Eric. SHIT, WHY DO I ALWAYS MEET PEOPLE I KNOW WHEN I LOOK LIKE CRAP? SERIOUSLY. Said hi and ran away. Bought the skirt and while running towards the nearest ladies, I saw Emily and Shaun (I think that's his name) sitting outside TopShop. Ran to the toilets and when I came out they were sitting on the benches directly outside the toilets arguing whether or not it was me. LAWL. I think they got suspicious when I went in with a white stained skirt and emerged with a new black one. Said hi, chatted and then went on my way to meet mother in McDonald's. Lo and behold, who do I meet but more ex-classmates. This time it was Jeremy, Shen and Shaun the twins.

Conclusion: I must always look good when I go out. Don't want to be considered a fashion pariah you know?

Came home, went over to Sammie's and it was just another wonderful typical afternoon of playing Sly Cooper while shouting at the screen. Ho hum. Good times.

Stupid Koala. -_-
