Nose High School, Osaka

30 January 2008 (Wednesday)

Nose High School students from Nose-cho, Osaka, Japan visited my school SMK Assunta on Wednesday. Prior to the event everyone was going mad choosing their partners, buying souvenirs and now it all leads up to this awaited day...

8.15 am. Waiting for students to arrive. (me, left; Rachel, right)

The welcoming party, lol.

8.30 a.m. Living up to their Japanese standards, they were EXACTLY on time. Everyone was pushing and squealing when we saw them, manbags/handbags/awesome hair and all.

First thing on the itinerary was breakfast for the Japanese. So while they ate, us Assuntarians just kinda sat around and ogled at everyone. Me? I just kinda sat there and stared at some Harajuku look-alikes wondering if I would have the guts to up to them introduce myself and ask if they like KAT-TUN. xD

Bravery struck me somewhere halfway and I requested a pic with this group of girls. They were so nice, smiling and waving and not minding my accented Japanese. And yes, they like KAT-TUN. Guess who their favourite member is? *wiggles eyebrows* >:)

After eating everyone was allowed to mingle around and talk to the students. Obviously, I approached all the girls and typical conversation went like this:

"Ohaiyo gozaimas, Nikoru des."
"Ohaiyo, (insert name here) des!"
"KAT-TUN daisuki des ka?!"

xD Got a bunch of answers but most of them liked Kazuya. Uwaaaa, so happy. ♥

After that we were supposed to escort our students to the hall. That's where I met my student, Takuma Mizumoto.

Went to the hall, got seated and then there were boring speeches. Tried to talk to my guy in between. Turns out he doesn't understand ANY English other than "Hello", "Thank you", "Sorry" and "Goodbye". So throughout the whole day, I communicated via my broken Japanese and hand gestures. After the speeches, we had to take our students to get changed into their 'costumes' for their own dance showcase. Everyone came out wearing a sort of Japanese kimono called a "happi". My uncle told me it's usually used for festivals and shopkeepers or something like that. Whatever, everyone looked hot in it.

Then we had to sing our school songs. Nose High went first and my guy showed me the lyrics. OMONA, I'm so happy I can read most of it! So excited, but didn't know the tune so I kept quiet. Apparently they were singing something about mountains and rivers. >.> Then during our school song, my guy tried to sing along but he sounded so deadpan about it I had to turn away else I laugh really loudly in his face.

After that was the Malay mock wedding. Everyone got a bit excited for that. Not sure how to say 'wedding' in Japanese so I told him: "Onna, Otoko, couple." LAWL

Takuma told me the word on their back means "might".

Okay, so before we get any further let me tell you on how I fell head over heels in love with this fella in the picture below. His name is Yoshida Masahiro and he is 100% S-T-Y-L-I-S-H. I'm seriously in love with him, not joking. Ever since he left I can't stop thinking about him. When he first arrived everyone was ogling at his hair because he looked electrocuted or something but it's what he wore:

He wore a light pink loose polo shirt, 3/4 ripped jeans and a pair of UGG boots! My god, UGG boots in Malaysia? His feet must stink so bad. Combine that with the fact he carried around a GUCCI handbag and another manbag (which we later found out cased all his hairsprays and large mirror), assorted necklaces, bracelets, earrings etc, etc.

I'm in love. And guess what, during the speeches and things, he sat directly behind me. So everytime I pretended to talk to Phaik May (his partner), I'd stare at him in awe. Oh, it's love at first sight.

Random fella I thought was cute.

Everyone checking out the akad nikah (?) Is that what the blessing part with the bunga telur is called?

Snapped photos of willing STYLISH students. They were so nice to me. I actually mistook the fella in the middle with specs for a girl, but when he turned around, he turned out to be a guy. EVEN BETTER. I LOVE GIRLY BOYS.

Takuma, me and Rachel. Yeah, well he didn't turn out liked I hoped he would but whatever, I'm not complaining. He looks better in real life than in photos.

Lining up to bless the 'couple'.

Gah, my camera died somewhere along here, blur pic. Stylish haircuts ahoy.

Kiran and me with her student, Naoya. He's so short and he was so cute! He smelt really good too. Everyone keeps saying he's really girly cause everytime he looks at you, he'd give you this shy girly look that only girls would give to their crushes. You know, when you steal glances under your eyelids.
(curse the bitch at the back with her kissy face. she ruined my photo. >:O)

Wen Chian with her Japanese meditator.

Okay, so halfway somewhere after the wedding there were Indian, Chinese and Malay dances. Everyone got a bit excited during the Indian dance, because...who doesn't? Indians are reknowned for their enthusiastic dancing.

Girl below sat next to me in the hall. She was so cute, can't remember her name though. Anyway I introduced myself then she introduced herself and her friend who was sitting behind. She and her friend both like KAT-TUN and her favourite was Kazuya while the friend liked Jin. I was like, "Kamenashi Kazuya sugoii kakoii!" (remember? Mikiko taught me this in Japan. xD) And she was so excited she started blubbering to me in Japanese (no idea what she said). Oh and during our school presentation (slideshow of our school or something) there was a picture of Sister Enda, our school founder. At a loss of how to say nun in Japanese I told her:

"You know, Kamenashi new dorama? One pound no fukuin? Sister Angela? Same! Sister Enda, Sister Angela, SAME."

Ahaha, she was funny. She went all, "hontoni? Uwaaa." And told me about One Pound Gospel showing in Japan now and stuff. Teehee.

Fella in front had cool hair and specs.

Awesome hair, but not as awesome as my YOSHIDA MASAHIRO.
Then it was their turn to perform. The Japanese students started with a Taekwondo performance led by one really HOT black belt.

Hello, I want your shirt to open up please.

Hot girly boy with his AWESOME Japanese handphones. Japanese handphones are awesome by default. Because they can rotate, have 5 megapixel cameras and you can even watch live TV with them.

MOAR AWESOME HAIR.

Naoya. ♥
Taekwondo.

After Taekwondo was their Japanese dance. Apparently, their school has a dance club and everyone here were members. The dance was really interesting. They had to dance with clappers or "naruko" in their hands. I have a video of the dance but it's a bit blurry.

Towards the end of the dance somewhere, my camera lens died and shit happened. I'm so pissed off with it right now.

MOAR PICS.

Minus kissy face fucker. :D

THEN! We made ketupat and played congkak. Let me tell you people something, as a Malaysian I have NEVER folded ketupat in my life or even touched a congkak set before. Regardless, I had to teach Takuma how to do both. And you know what, he managed to everything after one try. YES, EVEN THE KETUPAT. Mine tak jadi, but Rachel taught him the weave and not long after he had a nice square ketupat in his hands. I told him that it was a "Malaysian gyoza". He had a great laugh about that. What? Gyoza is dumpling isn't it? What would you call a ketupat in Japanese?

Playing congkak. We taught him one round and in the next he was a congkak expert.

So we pitted him against another n00b. Our fella totally PWNED this dude. So proud of him. *o*

After the congkak there was lunch of nasi lemak and fruits. My poor fella does not know how to eat spicy food so only had rice, eggs and fried chicken. I told him Malaysian curry was not like Japanese curry. You should've have seen his face when I told him it was spicy. LOLWORTHY.

Then I went round to take photos with everyone.

MY LOVER. ♥ HE MAY BE (slightly) UGLY BUT IT'S WHAT HE WEARS WITH SUCH FINESSE. See the Gucci manbag? See? SEE?! :D :D :D Yoshida Masahiro-kun, aishiteru! I told him I loved his hair and shoes and he was like "Oh, SANKYUU SANKYUU! :D"

Exchanged omiyage with Takuma. He gave me 2 fans, one really pretty fabric postcard, a bookmark and his naruko. Posing with the fan he gave:
Oh, but did I mention the best present of all? HE GAVE ME HIS HAPPI! Uwaaa, I was SO HAPPY TO GET HIS HAPPI! URESHII DES!!! XD It came straight off his back, sweat and all. Right now, it's hanging in my room and I'm never washing it because I have original, pure 100% Japanese male hormonal sweat and DNA in the form of a happi. It smells good by the way. :P But I look like Harry Potter when I wear it. :/

With another cute fella. I think he looks abit like Tackey.
Naoya again and some girl who also like KAT-TUN. xD

The dude on the far left side is SO SO SO SO HOT. He had such pale eyes he might be of mixed heritage. Hot guy, hot guy, me, hot guy, 2 KAT-TUN fangirls. :DTHE END.

P/S: Oh, another piccu of Naoya. Dammit, why do I have so many of him. But he's cute regardless. ♥

P/P/S: Someone told me Masahiro has hot pink sunglasses. ♥♥♥♥♥

P/P/P/S: I love Japanese boys. Everytime you take a picture with them, the "peace sign" automatically comes up. *sigh* and their style, their clothes, their HAIR aksjksdjkjkjkl*spazzes* Did I mention one dude was wearing a hot pink sweater and a leopard print cowboy hat? HOW CAN YOU BEAT SUCH AWESOME STYLE? :O :O :O

Will be back in the next post with more pics of MASAHIRO when I get it. :D
