Nicole Loves Fashion, Oh Yes She Does...!

My biggest pet peeve is when someone tells me they don't care about clothes brands. What the hell are you talking about, of course you do! Being brand concious is not a luxury, it's a right! (I totally stole this from Sarah Jessica Parker ;D) Don't you feel the thrill, the exhilaration when let's say some fashion street photographer (like FRUiTS!) stops you on the street and asks you where your outfit is from?
"T-shirt from Graniph, Samurai Jeans, Fafi for Lesportsac handbag and Miu Miu x POP heels. The accesories are from TopShop."

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAH JUST TYPING THOSE BRANDS DOWN MAKES ME FEEL SO HAPPY.

I know the clothes up there look boring a crap, but there is more to brands than just basic clothing. Fashion is a product that can be bought and sold and is made for you, and style is something that you get up and you do it to yourself every morning. Fashion is a product, but style is a way of life. You can't buy style, it's an instinct.

Oh, oh and I know this is sounds pretty bad but I am soooooooooo lusting over Fergie's new handbag line with Kipling. Google it, you have to admit it looks pretty good especially "Naughty Scout". October COME FASTER!!!

Talking about handbags, GOD why is EVERYBODY AND THEIR GRANDMOTHER (srsly) carrying a FAKE TOKIDOKI BAG?!!?!?!?!?!

STOP STOP STOP STOP IT ALREADY!!! These people just piss me off. If you can't afford the real TokiDoki for LeSportSac may I suggest a cheaper alternative? I don't care if you like it, YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT. STOP SPOILING THE NOVELTY FOR THOSE WHO CAN. I admit I myself own a fake, but I made up for it by buying the original a few weeks later leaving the fake to BURN BABY BURNNNN at them bottom of my closet.
>:(

Speaking of TokiDoki, I heard they are teaming up in Onitsuka Tiger (Japanese sport shoes) for May 2008. I now know what I want for my 17th birthday next year, HO HUM.

I just felt like making a fashion post for some reason. I love fashion (been my life since I was 10) I've just realised I don't have a friend who shares the same enthusiasm for clothes and brands as I do. Why's that? I've got one for JE, one for music, one for photography and most friends for general fun. But I've never had a friend who knows who Giles Deacon, Rei Kawakubo or hell, A Bathing Ape. And hey guys, NO, Karl Lagerfeld is NOT an actor. Yohji Yamamoto is NOT a JE boy but a fashion designer. CAPEESH?

;_;

Man, I am such a prick.
