Cross-Country 2008 // Folding ketupat in honour of...

Saturday (26 Jan 2008) morning was spent running our school's annual Cross-Country/Jogathon thingy. Whatever, it's not like I participate seriously in the damn thing anyway. For the past 2 years I've been running the thing myself but this year I hung back and finished it with Rachel because we had important matters to discuss ('Tell Me' dance and Takuma ;D).

After we were done, Inessa, her sis and I ran like hell to the school gate only to be stopped by the androgynous school guard. In the end her mother had to intervene and Assunta students would be really jealous when they found out what we managed to get from Puan Sarala (READ: Lifetime exit pass with teacher permission anytime/anyday for any event!) Anyway, Ines dropped me off home, I showered and passed out on my bed till 6 where I woke up, got online and chatted to Wen Chian till dinnertime. Heh, good times.

And and, I managed to get to Nodame Cantabile episode 5 today! :D CHIAKI-SAMA, AISHITERU!

SO, it's Sunday now and the Japanese students are visiting on Wednesday. ^_^ If I said I wasn't excited I'd be lying. Because somewhere deep in my heart I am a teensy weensy bit excited to be able to rub shoulders (literally) with a real Japanese boy. (Not that I didn't in Japan, but still!)

Anyway, thought I'd keep the excitement running by showing you what my host student looks like:

Takuma Mizumoto, 17 and from what I can see, not bad looking.

Anyway Wen Chian sent over some photos of everyone else and these are the ones that really stood out. (Names and addresses have been censored for security reasons. :D )

This boy isn't handsome but OMONA, his HAIR IS ♥!

One of the prettier girls I've seen.

I'm loving his "Japanese Spiritual Enlightenment". This boy happens to be Wen Chian's. lol

And lastly, my most favourite:

OMONA, ISN'T HE SO FREAKING AWESOME?! I'm loving the pose! The profile! The overall genki-ness that this dude is exuding! Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! x3

BRB; learning to fold ketupat. >:(
