I just found a bunch of style blogs and the genius that is Chictopia.com. Holy cow! I'm in bloody style heaven. So much inspiration, so much style, so many beautiful clothes.
Is it sad how clothes are inspiring me to start college now? I can't wait to wake up in the mornings to go for my classes dolled up in my outfits. Chic breezy blouses paired with a cute pencil/tulip skirt topped off with a hat (preferably my bowler or fedora) and a sweater in case it gets cold. OR! My new star print blouse I bought in Bangkok with the bow around the collar paired with my new (get this) skinny leg CHEAP MONDAY JEANS (YES, CHEAP MONDAY. ME. MUAHAHAHAHA) and Zara black ankle boots to elongate my stumps legs.
I never did well in High School because we were made to wear Alice in Wonderland inspired uniforms everyday. Instead, I always excelled in tuition because we were given the freedom and I shined amongst all the t-shirt and jeans clad students. I always tell my mother: "When I look damn good, I feel damn good and then I perform damn good."
Of course.
Don't you just hate it when people turn up for classes in nothing but t-shirt and jeans and a pair of slippers? (Yes, I have been a victim, but no longer!!!) It pisses me off when I see people in slippers. It looks sloppy and it shows you don't take pride in how you portray yourself to the world. I know you're one of those "don't judge me" people but COME ON, at least don't be an eyesore to others. Have a bit of courtesy.
Caught up with Inessa today and we went gallivanting around Mid Valley and the Gardens. Of course, we had to do the obligatory round to Isetan where the MARC JACOBS shrine is located.
I found one I really like! It's pale blue and soft pebble leather, and if I'm not wrong it's the Softy Jorie in Denim and costs RM1899 plus further 40% discount. And seeing it's Isetan we can use my uncle's staff discount for a further 20%. So total = RM759.60. HOLY SHIT LESS THAN A THOUSAND RINGGIT.
This is for my parents/relatives (if they ever find this blog, god forbid they ever do): 18th birthday in May *HINT HINT HINT HINT HINT HINT HINT*
I've already told them what I want for my 21st in 2012: My very own Chanel 2.55 (reissued or classic). Hey, I think I'm pretty reasonable considering I've given them 3 years to save up (lol).
Pretty evident from this post that between Shoes and Bags, I'm definitely a Bag girl. BUT! The wonderful thing is, Chinese New Year is just around the corner and looking at my prosperous history I think I have a great chance of gaining at least RM900+ worth of ang paos (recession or not, muahaha). So if my parents do not relent *cries* I'll just save up that money along with the ones I have left in the bank and buy the bag myself. I want it. I want it. iwantiwantiwantiwantiwantiwantiwant.
Recession is here! We need to spend more to spur the economy! (I am a frivolous brat D:) I am now going to make googly eyes at my computer screen as I browse through the more expensive and exotic skins (ostrich :my favourite, crocodile, lizard...) . ;_; I'm so happy and contented who knows what would happen when I finally do achieve my dreams and earn enough money to buy one. *sigh sigh sigh*
Ignore the title, I just pressed shuffle on my iTunes and that came up.
Don't mind me; I'm just blogging for the sake of blogging.
Let's see, yesterday I went to Salsa class and danced with the most charming dude but he obviously doesn't have anything on D. Oh, and I also had my first outing with my lovely gladiators! I received alot of compliments and admiring so I'm really happy about that, haha.
What else...oh my dad left for Beijing today. He sent me an SMS that went along the lines of: "In Beijing now. Weather is cold and foggy. I am going to eat peking duck and dumplings now. Btw, pls send me EPL football results. TQ"
Clearly I am very loved. ________________________

Next year when I start college, I aspire to dress fashionably every day. YES, every day. I will do my own laundry. I will never have jeans and t-shirt days (unless I'm lazing about at home). With the exception for going to the pasar malam and going for Salsa classes.
My biggest dream (ok, one of them) is to go to Japan and to have my photo taken by Shoichi Aoki for FRUiTS. I've planned it already; I'll pack all my ugliest clothes, throw them all on at one go and lurk around the Shibuya/Harajuku area throughout my stay. It's bound to work people. And when I do get my photo taken, you'll know cause I won't be able to shut up about it. HA!

Today was an uneventful day. I actually stayed up till 6 o' clock in the morning typing, snuck downstairs to post and fell asleep at 7 only to wake up again at 12 for lunch. During that span of 5 hours, I managed to garner 64 reviews and still counting.
I AM TRULY AMAZING.
(j/k)
You know who is though?
Joe Jonas.
I won't lie.
One minute can be look all innocent and charming...
Then fucking hell, BAM! He turns out with pictures like this: Look at that chest. Look at that chest. Should I say it again?
Oh yes.
LOOK AT THAT CHEST.
WOW.
LOOK AT THOSE EYES.
STARING INTO MY SOUL.
It's like he's thinking: "I'm HOT SHIT and you know it. Now EAT IT, bitch!"
I kiss that magazine every night.
Again I'm (j/k). I dreamt about that photo once though. It wasn't anything dirty, sadly. :(
SWEET,CUTE,INNOCENT, DOE EYED JOE or HOT, SEXY, TIGHT PHILIP LIM SHIRT, MARC JACOBS BELT WEARING JOE.
I'm torn.
You can tell I'm creatively drained now. I can't even put myself up to type a scathing review of the crapfest that was Twatlight.
However there 2 things awesome about the movie. One of them shall be Jasper. And Dr. Carlisle. BRB LOOKING FOR HOT PHOTOS OF HIM.jsakldjklajdskladj!!!!!!!!!!
Like goddamn, finally. No more exams, no more tuition, no more homework to worry about. Three months full of pure bliss, I'm so excited.
Didn't do much today to celebrate. Came home from school, showered, changed and headed off to One Utama with Sammie to watch...Twilight.
I don't want to rant about the movie right now. I'll dedicate a whole post to it later. YES, it was that bad I have to rant about it. Just a heads up, I thought the books were bad and slowly paced. The movie is worse and a 10000000x slower. Like. So. So. So. So. Slow............................................
And now let me interrupt our daily program for a recent groundbreaking discovery:
So I was doing some much needed catching up with my *~*~*celebrity gossip*~*~* on ONTD and stumbled upon a post about Lindsay Lohan's new MySpace pictures or whatever.
First thing that came to mind was, "Wow, that girl next to her I L.O.V.E. her top!" Then it struck me that it looked familiar. A liiiiittle bit too familiar. And I remembered: DEMI LOVATO!
They are SO totes wearing the same top y/y?! :D Look at it: The neckline, the buttons, the sleeves. Its just that one girl has a bigger bust than the other.
Like that dude on E!: WHO WORE IT BETTER?
lol. This post just shows I have no life. Or I have great observation skills.
Long time no blog, mainly because of the fact my mother pulled out the computer extension cord and I was left computer-less for nearly 3 weeks. I said computer-less not Internet-less because yes, my beautiful Nokia 7373 fashion phone is capable of *gasp* Internet connection! There you go you Mac iPhone tools, the iPhone is not that great. My Nokia can do everything yours can and better- in pink!
Speaking of fashion and gadgets, SPM is nearly over (2 more papers and I'm good to go!) and college is around the corner which means....I need a laptop! I have waxed lyrical to my father many times stating that I will only accept a hot pink Sony Vaio but now I found something even better it makes my eyes water, brings out the inner Chinese in me, is fashionable AND eye-catchingly gorgeous...
VIVIENNE TAM FOR HP notebook!
Omg, not only is it eye-bleedingly red (my favourite colour) it has floral designs on the cover which makes it all the more cute. The keys are in gold the enter key apparently has the Chinese "double happiness" sign on it (you know, the one they put up on weddings). It reminds me of Chinese New Year (my favourite season) in a good way and I love, love, love it! Plus, it comes with a matching carrying case AND accesories. HELL YES I'M GETTING IT!
Looks so good I mistook it for a clutch the first time. Which is what its called, a "digital clutch". Even that sounds good to me.
So bye-bye Sony Vaio you may have been a cute colour but fashion always wins in my eyes. By the way, Christian Siriano is designing a one of a kind scarf for the new Samsung Lotus handphone...
Looks like I'm going to have to chuck my Nokia next year. ;D
I'm kidding.
I think.
Life updates after December. The laptop just made my day.
Kazuya bounces back with something I never thought would happen. No, KAT-TUN hasn't released a new single, no he hasn't taken off his shirt recently, no ero-ero dances but something even more droolworthy.
Kazuya struts the catwalk for Hermès.
OMFG, I THINK I JUST CAME.
It's not even some cheapie local Japanese brand, but fucking Hermès. You know, Birkin bag Hermès. Silk scarves Hermès.
According to sources, his top is 159000円 and his scarf is 108000円. So with my handy-dandy currency converter, RM5952.10 for the top, and RM4042.93 for the scarf. (US$1664.92, US$1130.89)
WOW.
Plus, homeboy was in the lead so I'm guessing that he opened the show as well.
Modelling at HERMES 2008 men's autumn/winter collection fashion show.
I'm sorry Kame! How could I have ever abandoned you for Joe Jonas? Ohh the blasphemy! I've learned my lesson now, whenever I try to forget about you, you come back and BANG! Kill me with the next best thing just when I thought you couldn't get any better.
BUT YOU DID!! :D :D :D Great things come in small packages.
In my last entry about two days ago, I blogged about bowler hats. Well guess what? Not even 24 hours after posting that I went out with my uncle to One Utama a mere 10 hours later to watch The Other Boleyn Girl and I came home clutching my new round wool/felt prize - my bowler hat!
BOOYAH!
I don't care what anyone says, "I'm a fashion victim", "Charlie Chaplin copycat", "You'll never wear it" etc etc, what's most important is that I love it and paid good money for it when I spotted it in the shop (I won't name which one; my secret! hahaha) while trawling around with my uncle trend spotting. Yes, we trend spot and take photos of shop windows because my uncle is so cool like that. (Overhaul of tartan/Vivienne Westwood inspired clothes this season, looks like punk is back even though it's dead)
Do you like my T-shirt? Don't you love my T-shirt? Of course you do! It's this year's birthday present from Rachel featuring Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who. Wow, how did she know I love receiving clothes for my birthday AND am in love with Dr. Seuss? See it shows who your friends are and how well they know you. Even better was when I went to Amcorp Mall with my mother today to borrow books when I FINALLY spotted the August issue of Teen Vogue that I've been hunting around for. Imagine my utmost happiness when I flipped to the editorials and found the model wearing this....
Then I logged onto the Internet for my usual ONTD gossip fix and found new pap pictures of Rachel Bilson in LAX sporting this...
Yes I seem that I am posting all these pics to justify my new purchase, so shuddup! >:P
I don't think I've blogged about the newest additions to my family. And no I don't mean that my mother is pregnant, cause God forbid should that ever happen because I would be a horrible older sister and a very selfish and abusive one, god forbid god forbid touch wood, I like being an only child kaythanks.
No, I'm talking about my new pet. Or pets! You would never think of me as the type to have pets huh seeing how Kame and Nikoru (my 17th birthday gift from Krystle ♥) turned out. But, but these are the best! Why? Because I don't have to feed them, bathe them or give them loving attention because they don't need it! (No, they are not Sims either)
They are my pet bats! (Yay how fitting considering how The Dark Knight came out this year) So it all started back in 2006 when a lone fruit bat came to live in the rafters of my house. My dad and I named him Bat Masterson after some American Old West cowboy dude and TV series of the same name. After about 2 months and lots of photos taken, he eventually flew away and never came back :(
But all is good now! Because fast forward to the present Bat Masterson has come back! (Pic taken September 16 2008)
But that's not all. Bat came back, PLUS one. So we assumed that it was his lady friend. (17 September) I was overjoyed with glee. Finally an animal I could love without having to care for it, plus it was exotic and something not many people would have. Little could we have known that Bat and his lady friend would come back one morning...
PLUS another one! I'd like to assume that the 3rd is Bat's son. (25 September) My father and I are currently thinking up names so dear friends if you have any suggestions we are open. ;D I'm thinking of naming the son Bruce, you know Bruce Wayne aka Batman and re-naming Bat to John ala John Wayne (that way they'll still be related and we'd still keep the Cowboy Wild Wild West theme going on, haha) But it's not confirmed. __________________________________________________________________
So exams ended on Thursday (25 Sep) and all I can say is Add Maths is a killer and I probably spent a good amount of time on that paper scratching my head and banging my pen on the table with frustration. It was (almost) as bad as Accounts.
It was also almost as bad, ALMOST as bad when I heard that Dhas quit Salsa class.
SHOCK! HORROR!!
I know, I kind of died a little inside when his sister (who is also aptly named Nicole) told me.
I know, everyone has heard the story how I believe that he and I are Made For Each Other (MFEO) but no matter how many times I wax lyrical about it, the more I think about it the more I think it's true. And now because I never seized the day (carpe diem) and made a move, karma decided to be a bitch and take away all my opportunities. It's All or Nothing Nicole. You chose Nothing so now that's what you get...
NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dear friends, and I know all of you who have heard my D rants are now rolling your eyes (don't think I don't know Sammie, Krystle and Rachel & co). I know I am pathetic but think about it. I fell for him when I first saw him through the glass window in the waiting room of Salsa class while his was going on. I was excited when I heard he was going to move on to mine. Imagine my shock and glee when I heard that he was the COUSIN of my CLASSMATE no less. He could've been a nobody, but nooo, he had to be closely related to my CLASSMATE. Tell me, how often does such a predicament ever occur? And what's more, his sister's name is NICOLE. What. A. Coincidence. Her parents could've named her Natalie or Naomi or Nicola or Nicol or Nichole but they chose to name her Nicole, LIKE MINE. Therefore I am pleased to say if we ever get married (cough) my parents in law WILL ACCEPT ME due to our amazingly obvious compatibility and similarities (same name with sister, cousin's classmate, love for Salsa dancing, same favourite movie, etc etc). I don't care what anyone else says and how cringey this sounds, but right now to my juvenile seventeen year old mind I believe in the stars and in karma after all that wishing during my lovesick, lovestruck, lovebugged 12 year-old self wishing for a certain someone that my prayers were answered in the form of D and...
I NEVER DID ANYTHING.
We were MFEO and he may not know that and I may regret this in the future, but if I didn't admit that this doesn't hurt then I'm lying. Cause it does.
It hurts. We may have been close physically, but we weren't emotionally and spiritually and there's nothing I can do to remedy that cause now he's gone.
Gone. Like that N'Sync song. GONE. Like that book. GONE, BABY, GONE. FUCKING GONE.
And I'd like to write more but to gain back whatever respect my friends had for me I have held back alot. But I think this is probably the most intimate rant I'll ever write on this somewhat dead blog. You know me, I'm...
He may have been gone though but I thought that I'd share this. The other day while having dinner my dad was hurrying me up cause he wanted to rush home and watch his TV show. When I asked what show it was he replied, "Changes of Destiny" but instead I heard "Changes of D****** L**". Imagine my horror.
And today (26 Sep) when I went over to play Assassin's Creed with Sammie on her PS3 surprise, surprise, guess what the main character's name is.
That's right: D. D Miles.
Oh and one more thing before I finally close this long-ish thing, apparently he shaved his head of beautiful hair. According to Elizabeth he has gone from Paul McCartney to Wentworth Miller. I guess that's ok considering he didn't go monk but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Yes, it's nice he became a little manlier but, AAAAARGH. I don't know what to say, so I won't say anything more. I've gotten this off my chest and I'll try never to bring him up again. Except now, Italiannies One Utama is my FAVOURITE RESTAURANT.
On ANOTHER completely different note, (yes, long post haha) I guess bowler hats are now the new IN thing? First boater hats (ala Girls Generation) then fedoras (KAT-TUN) now bowler hats seem to be the next big thing. I've seen it on my bb Tae Min (from SHINee) and Demi Lovato recently.
I won't lie. I want a bowler hat now. :( And since I'm posting about Demi, I can't believe I'm saying this but I downloaded her new album "Don't Forget" and I'm kinda sad to admit that I *kind of* like it. I didn't at first, but now it's growing on me.
Notable tracks include the first single Get Back, Two Worlds Collide, On The Line (with the JoBros) and my absolute favourite, the album title track Don't Forget. I have it on repeat now and I am very sad to admit that it is the perfect sad emo love song to heal broken hearts. Seriously.
It seems like my music taste has gone to shit now. But really. Take my advice and take a chance on Demi like I did. I initially thought her as an ugly, no-talent, Disney loser, lucky bitch who got to act with Joe Jonas but now I'm singing a different tune.
Literally.
And now since I'm praising the girl, hell I'll even go further and admit that she looks pretty in the pictures for her album. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE♥♥♥♥♥ this jacket that she's wearing.
And since I mentioned the JoBros (haaaaaa) yesterday Krystle offered to make me a banner for my fic. I wanted this damn Rolling Stone cover for so long already but couldn't find it online. Now that I've found it...:
LOOK AT THAT. IF THAT ISN'T SEXY THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT CRACK YOU'RE SMOKING OR IF YOU'RE JUST BLIND.
....Or if you're just lovesick like me and think that no matter what, a certain someone just looks better :)
SO, as the title says I FINALLY went out today since...ages! Went to One U today to meet up with Rachel, Vivian, Elizabeth + other people, and to pick up my brand new totally gorgeous precious F.T. Island CD that Rachel reserved in Rock Corner.
Costs freaking RM81.90! But I consoled myself when I opened it and found out there was a photobook, about 10 shop photos of each individual member and next Saturday it will be held and signed by F.T. Island themselves. (hopefully)
Lunch at TGIF.
Did soooo much shopping today. Rachel and I actually wanted to go karaoke (Fact: it's Rachel's dream to belt out "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston and mine is "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. Now you know) but the rest weren't keen and wanted to shop. Seeing as 2 people going karaoke by themselves is a very sad thing (in doramas), we decided to waste time wandering around.
Oh, and we went hunting for yellow T-shirts. F.T. Island's fan colour is Sunshine Yellow. I got mine for RM29.90 plus discount. xP Bought 2, one for concert and one for the fan meeting.
Plus, I got this gorgeous dress from TopShop! Been eye-ing this for quite long and today they reduced the price, SO HAPPY! (wearing a hat, that's why half my head looks chopped off)
The day I've been waiting since early February has arrived. Project Runway season 4 is finally airing on TV! Sure, Season 3 was a dud, season 2 was a classic and season 1 had Austin but the real reason I was anxiously waiting for this particular season to start is because of this man:
My friends you fierce bitches, meet Christian Siriano. The fiercest bitch I've ever seen in my life like, oh my god! He's so fierce, he's ferosh. And that's short for ferocious, by the way. :)
Christian is very hard to describe. In his own words, he's "Kind of fierce and kind of a celebrity- but in my own head."
Some of his best quotes: "If I were a diva, my name would be ferosh." "I'd rather buy clothes than buy a bed." "Omygosh I'm gonna die." "The judges might, die over it, or they might die because of it." "I love Asia, Asians are fierce." (YAY!) "....and that's a pretty big deal because I've met some pretty fierce bitches up in my life." "Godawful hideous!" "Ohmygod I'm gonna die of barfness."
and the best for last...
"FIERCE."
Still don't believe that Christian is the fiercest bitch you've ever seen? Watch this video. I guarantee you'll be converted. (I've already made 2 cynical Project Runway haters to Christian worshippers. Hoho)
Stay fierce bitches. Or Ferosha Coutura might come after you to spray hairspray into your eyes.
So under the advice of Wen Chian, today I rushed home from tuition and watched So Nyuh Shi Dae's new "Kissing You" MV. Omg the cuteness! Oh wait, OMONA the cuteness! I was obsessed with Dong Hae before Hee Chul but I think now he's a close second after Chullie (because Hee Chul will forever be "number one Korea handsome guy.")
Anyway the whole video was cutesy-cutesy and made even more adorable with the solo scenes between Dong Hae and my favourite SNSD member, Tiffany. :P
It reminded me that:
(a) If I get a boyfriend, we must take purikura and our ideal pose would be this-
THE COUPLE HEART! SO CUTE RIGHT!! :3 (b) We must co-ordinate outfits! Omona, so dashing! I especially love love love Tiffany's outfit. See how her skirt matches her bow and hair piece? (not pictured) And then there's Dong Hae looking adorable in his pink shirt and cuddling up to her. I can totally picture myself and future boyf to do this. Even if we don't, I will force him. MUAHAHAHHA. And if you can't see it from here, they totally even have matching haircuts! :O OMONA! AWWWW. *sniff* *sniff* I can so totally picture Sammie right now. "SHUT UP, NICOLE! This is why you don't have a boyfriend!"
I was a Japanese schoolgirl for a day, and now I am a Japanese schoolgirl again for a night. :D Went to Amira's (from the Japan trip) birthday party on Dec 15. The theme was Harajuku. Because I am poor and own no Japanese clothes which are expensive as heck (esp: Takuya Angel, my fave! Anyone who reads Shoichi Aoki's FRUiTS streetstyle photobooks would know) I rip open my Seventeen's for ideas.
The inspiration: (ignore the 'Potter sheets, srsly)
The result:
Sweater: MNG White shirt: WH Tartan skirt with lace: iSocks Times Square (omg lala heaven -_-) Ribbon (around neck): Armarium YE product all cut up Pirate boots: ZARA (50% off!! xD) Aliceband (on head): Handmade Note to self: Seriously need to hunt down black knee socks.
Anyway, true to Malaysian spirit, nearly almost everybody there wasn't in costume save for a few people like the birthday girl, myself, 3 other girls (one in half a yukata!) and one boy in decora style. :P Come on people, at least be sporting lah! What the hell. That's why I hate going to costume parties in Malaysia, nearly almost everyone NEVER complies with the dresscode. They think it's HUMILIATING. Party poopers. Part of the fun is embarrassing yourself don't you know? That way, everyone can have fun. Jesus Christ. With partner in crime: ALE! Schoolgirl and schoolboy. :D Lol, I love this pic.
With the birthday girl. Otanjou-bi Omedetou Gozaimasu!
My aunty arrive a day earlier. xD TOPSHOP IS MAJOR HAPPINESS. And watching an ang moh eat with chopsticks is major LOL itself.
