Closet For College

I just found a bunch of style blogs and the genius that is Chictopia.com. Holy cow! I'm in bloody style heaven. So much inspiration, so much style, so many beautiful clothes.

Is it sad how clothes are inspiring me to start college now? I can't wait to wake up in the mornings to go for my classes dolled up in my outfits. Chic breezy blouses paired with a cute pencil/tulip skirt topped off with a hat (preferably my bowler or fedora) and a sweater in case it gets cold. OR! My new star print blouse I bought in Bangkok with the bow around the collar paired with my new (get this) skinny leg CHEAP MONDAY JEANS (YES, CHEAP MONDAY. ME. MUAHAHAHAHA) and Zara black ankle boots to elongate my stumps legs.

I never did well in High School because we were made to wear Alice in Wonderland inspired uniforms everyday. Instead, I always excelled in tuition because we were given the freedom and I shined amongst all the t-shirt and jeans clad students. I always tell my mother: "When I look damn good, I feel damn good and then I perform damn good."

Of course.

Don't you just hate it when people turn up for classes in nothing but t-shirt and jeans and a pair of slippers? (Yes, I have been a victim, but no longer!!!) It pisses me off when I see people in slippers. It looks sloppy and it shows you don't take pride in how you portray yourself to the world. I know you're one of those "don't judge me" people but COME ON, at least don't be an eyesore to others. Have a bit of courtesy.

Marky Mark

Caught up with Inessa today and we went gallivanting around Mid Valley and the Gardens. Of course, we had to do the obligatory round to Isetan where the MARC JACOBS shrine is located.

I found one I really like! It's pale blue and soft pebble leather, and if I'm not wrong it's the Softy Jorie in Denim and costs RM1899 plus further 40% discount. And seeing it's Isetan we can use my uncle's staff discount for a further 20%. So total = RM759.60. HOLY SHIT LESS THAN A THOUSAND RINGGIT.

This is for my parents/relatives (if they ever find this blog, god forbid they ever do):
18th birthday in May *HINT HINT HINT HINT HINT HINT HINT*

I've already told them what I want for my 21st in 2012: My very own Chanel 2.55 (reissued or classic). Hey, I think I'm pretty reasonable considering I've given them 3 years to save up (lol).

Pretty evident from this post that between Shoes and Bags, I'm definitely a Bag girl. BUT! The wonderful thing is, Chinese New Year is just around the corner and looking at my prosperous history I think I have a great chance of gaining at least RM900+ worth of ang paos (recession or not, muahaha). So if my parents do not relent *cries* I'll just save up that money along with the ones I have left in the bank and buy the bag myself. I want it. I want it. iwantiwantiwantiwantiwantiwantiwant.

Recession is here! We need to spend more to spur the economy! (I am a frivolous brat D:)
I am now going to make googly eyes at my computer screen as I browse through the more expensive and exotic skins (ostrich :my favourite, crocodile, lizard...) . ;_; I'm so happy and contented who knows what would happen when I finally do achieve my dreams and earn enough money to buy one. *sigh sigh sigh*

Sorted

I actually went for that Education Fair held by the Star newspaper in KLCC today. To say I was dubious and reluctant to go for it in the first place is an understatement, but after a whole lot of nagging and 'be serious, it's your life' talks by my mother I finally relented.

We arrived there while the doors were still closed but to my surprise they actually started right on the dot on the stated time. First impressions are important and I'm impressed. The hall was also really big and well organized so it was easy to navigate. First stop, my mother's favourite school: KDU. I swear, it's like they paid her money to mention their school to me every single damn day. Makes it worse when the school is right opposite my house across the highway.

After about 30 minutes of chatting with an adviser I guess they sort of won me over as well. The only thing I didn't like is that they associate with Australian Universities which I am totally AGAINST. I hate Australia, NONONONONONONO. Even worse, all of them were located in suburban areas like Perth and Adelaide, ARGH! Why the hell would anyone subject themselves to the torture that is the Australian suburb? I can't even take the damn city, I'd seriously kill myself if I ever had to go back. I'm really not joking.

But you don't care what I think.

We walked out from that little chat feeling a little relieved and happy that I finally had a prospective college to attend in March. My mother even happier seeing that KDU is:
1. near
2. cheap

Walked around a bit more until we happened on another college. I actually have no idea what made us stop, seeing as we had been refusing offers left right and center on anything that didnt interest us. Must've been fate, must've been karma because the Education Gods are seriously smiling upon me right now.

I found something even better.

I haven't registered yet, but I think this is it. It's the one and it only took 5 minutes for the boy (a student as well, even better for my mother to interrogate) to convince us that this was it. It took the lady 30 minutes to tell me about KDU but it took 5 minutes and no sitting down for me to click. Reasons:

1. It's even cheaper than KDU! Like RM5 000+ cheaper
2. Location is okay (Uptown)
3. The university they offer is actually really near my aunt's house in the London.
4. Endorsed by alot of pretty prestigious firms here in Malaysia and even New York City.
5. Opportunity to study fashion marketing and merchandising.
6. Small school/less well-known = less opportunity for running into somebody I know

SOLD.

to the confused teenager at the back. Hello my friend, London's calling. ;D

I won't reveal the college I chose yet seeing as I haven't registered or anything yet. Who knows, it might turn out to be a dud, but I've got a feeling it won't. :)

You could say I left that hall feeling really happy. We then left for KLIA to fetch my dad who arrived back from Mongolia via Beijing today. There must've been some flight from Mekkah or something today, everyone in the Arrivals hall was clad in white religious wear (idk what its called). How fun. I love looking at the Departure/Arrival boards, makes me wish that if I were born male I would've been a pilot. As a female, I myself am sexist towards female pilots. I wouldn't feel safe with me in the cockpit let alone a whole plane full of passengers.

My Hero

Haven't had the time to do anything since I came back from Bangkok much more blog about my repetitive life. Arrived home and immediately sat for my Highway Code Test with Rachel and then the next day I had a wake to attend, and a funeral after that and off to the Curve to meet Inessa after that.

So yeah, my cousin's mother just passed away. Said mother would be my father's brother's wife so you could say it wasn't a close relation and I had absolutely no feeling towards the situation. Does that sound a bit cruel? I think it does. It's amazing how I can watch a Japanese drama or read a romance novel and cry freaking buckets but all I can do at a relative's funeral is just shed ONE tear.

But I have my reasons. For one thing, said uncle is not my favourite. Said cousins are also not my favourite. In fact, they're a very pretentious lot and if you talked to my cousin you'd believe me. The other fact that he attends international school (ISKL, bloody hell) does not help the snobbery one bit. You can see where I'm coming from.

But at the end of the day, everyone comes together in this sad time of life so let's all have a moment of silence...
______________________________________

Which brings me to the title of this post.

I LOVE ROMANCE NOVELS.

Okay everyone, if you had to read at LEAST one romance novel in your lifetime let it be How To Marry A Marquis by Julia Quinn. Why? Because it has the ability to make you feel excited, angry, sad and turned on all at the same time! I read this book from late afternoon straight up to 3 a.m. in the morning non-stop which shows just how good it is. There was one scene where I was practically bawling my eyes out for the hero and heroine but was still titilated well enough. WHO THE HELL CAN MAKE YOU CRY WHILE THE CHARACTERS ARE HAVING DRY SEX?

Julia Quinn can.
Hats off to her.
So what are you waiting for? It costs RM32.90 at all good bookstores in Malaysia.

And if that book has left you longing for more, more, MORE! Then have no fear, I am here. :) I suggest you check out Ms. Quinn's other titles especially the Bridgerton series. Romance gold right there. My particular favourite would be Romancing Mr. Bridgerton purely for the fact that Colin Bridgerton has always been my ideal guy.

I'm currently reading another of Julia Quinn's, which is Splendid. Alexander Ridgely the hero in the novel was decribed as "sexy and dangerous...sinfully handsome and sinfully rich..." (her words not mine) and it got me squealing to my toes. Romance novels have always been my guilty pleasure. Especially those with heroes who are rakes. The more roguish, devilish, handsome and rich the better. I like any man in these types of books to be the kind who can silence the heroine with just a stare. He has to be masculine, strong and the forceful type. The kind of guy who will bend the heroine to his every whim and fancy and will seduce and titilate her at every chance he gets until they do the deed and leaves her to perish at the mercy of Regency London's social cirlces.

You can see I am not a feminist.

Which lead me to wander: I want a rake. I want a playboy. I want a strong guy. What kind of books should I read to ensure that I'll forever get a hero like this?

I did a little research and found my answer:

PIRATE ROMANCE NOVELS.

HOLY CRAP.

I am in Heaven.

(all images thanks to our best friend, Google)

Seriously, think about it. Heroine is stranded on a desert island. Sexy buff rakish (playboy) pirate hero sails onto her island and takes heroine as his captive. The set scene: Heroine on big beautiful pirate ship of 30 men all whom have been at sea for a long time now and have not seen a woman since. And because this is my fantasy, all the 30 men (the crew) are handsome and ready to pounce. But of course, hero is the hottest, strongest and sexiest of them all. And not to mention, he's also the captain. ;)

So as how all romance novels go, hero keeps heroine as his own. He chains her up and uses her as his slave. But then, aha! We find a twist in this plot (o rly?) and in actual fact, heroine's family had ruined hero's family a long, long time ago which lead to his pracy. Hero is get angry and plots his revenge by taking heroine as his own (you know what I mean) to spite her. But of course not all goes to plan as heroine (tries to) fight back. Hero is shocked that there is someone on Earth who dares fight his sexiness. Hero then leaves her alone, but for the next few chapters we are treated to endless scenes of said tortured hero trying to seduce said petulant heroine.

And to add another twist in the plot, maybe we can put heroine's fiancee whom she lost when she was left stranded on the desert island suddenly come sailing across the horizon towards their ship. Hero is enraged and locks up heroine to show a sign that she is 'his'. Hero and Heroine's fiancee fight to death for heroine's love but finally hero prevails and heroine's fiancee falls overboard into the sea never to be heard again.

And I'm tired to go on so we all know how this story will end. Hero and Heroine fall in love, have explosive coitus and have beautiful swashbuckling children. TA DA!

I shall call this story Scandal on the High Seas.

Doesn't it have that sizzle in the title? Hell, if I didn't write out the plot I'd buy/borrow it anyway. So much sizzle, so much angst, so much drama, so much endless sensual scenes the possibilities are endless when you're at sea on a big boat.

Sweet dreams (i know I will).

5 Hours In; 20 More To Go

I survived! *throws confetti*

Slept at 4 a.m. last night (for me, that's pretty early) and woke up at the ungodly hour of 7.45 a.m. to head off for our mandatory 5 hour driving Highway Code thingy whatever today.

I've heard alot of horror stories from various people telling me that it's boring, it's so dull bla bla bla...But to tell you the truth, I quite enjoyed it. Sure, our lecturer did ramble and go off topic sometimes and he did try to impress the Brit sitting in front of me many times but it was still entertaining. I learned a lot about the road that I never knew before. So, yay. I can't say the same for Rachel though, she fell alseep halfway through the seminar. T'was quite funny watching her drift off out of nowhere.

Off to Thailand this Thursday (18 December) and coming back home on the 21st. Then I'll be taking my highway code test the very next day. And then it's 6 hours of practical training (changing tyres, omg) and THEN finally I get to go behind the wheel and drive. I can't wait.

I can pretty much foresee myself sitting inside the car as it drops backwards on the slope. Or the car dying on the slope. Or accelerating down it accidentally.

Not a good thing.

So it's 6 hours + 12 hours + 2 hours (waiting time for test)...

HELLO ONE UTAMA.

I am Miley Cyrus

The last person to tag you is?
Krystle.

What relationship do you have with him/her
She's a friend who tolerates my love for Disney related teens. Thank you.

Your 5 impressions towards him/her.
a) Before there was Miley, I had impeccable taste in music. Therefore I like to think I was her music mentor.
b) My fangirling buddy!
c) My fanfic buddy! Someone I can share smut with, lol.
d)
e) GAWD, WHY WON'T YOU ANSWER YOUR PHONE.

The most memorable thing that he/she had done for you.
She gave me Kame and Nikoru. (Who have since died, but I loved all the same. D; )

The most memorable thing that he/she has said to you.
(when talking about PG-rated fanfiction) "WHO THE HELL NEEDS THEIR PARENTS TO ACCOMPANY THEM TO READ FANFICTION!?"

If he/she becomes your lover, you will…
Kill myself. All the men in the world and I ended up a lesbian with her? NO WAY!

If he/she becomes your enemy, you will
beat the shit out of her because I am a thousand times more awesome. Word. *gangster pose*

If he/she becomes your lover , he/she has to improve on..
Uh....height?

If he/she becomes your enemy , the reason is...
I won't lie. It's probably because I drove her to insanity after singing too many Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus songs.

The most desirable thing you want to do to him/her
Serenade her. With Hannah Montana or Jonas Brothers songs. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

The overall impression of he/her is
I'm glad we met. I won't go all sappy on you because that's not how we are. We are mean people. We shall never declare our undying love for each other but deep down I know we both love each other. Awww, tough love. *cough*

How do you think the people around you feel about you?
I'm too loud? If that's the case then they're jealous they don't have a voice as clear as mine. I'm freaking Mariah style.

The character for yourself is?
What character? You mean like cartoon character? Ok, Hamburglar. HE'S AWESOME.

On the contrary , the thing you hate about yourself is?
I can't sing. I need to work on my voice.

The most ideal person you want to be is?
I like myself. But I guess if I had to choose it would be Demi Lovato. I love her. Or maybe I could be a Jonas Brother. Yeah! That'd be so awesome! I could be Nick I guess since we share similar names/nicknames. Then I'll go date Demi not Selena. BOO YAH. EITHER WAY I TOTALLY WIN!!!

Pick a loved one and say something about them.
DEMI LOVATO I LOVE YOU. YOU HAVE AN AWESOME VOICE. I LISTEN TO YOUR ALBUM EVERYDAY. I LOOK FOR YOUR PICTURES EVERYDAY. I LOOOOOOOOVE YOU!!! *screams*

*is shot*

AFFECTION ~もう戻れない~

Ignore the title, I just pressed shuffle on my iTunes and that came up.

Don't mind me; I'm just blogging for the sake of blogging.

Let's see, yesterday I went to Salsa class and danced with the most charming dude but he obviously doesn't have anything on D. Oh, and I also had my first outing with my lovely gladiators! I received alot of compliments and admiring so I'm really happy about that, haha.

What else...oh my dad left for Beijing today. He sent me an SMS that went along the lines of: "In Beijing now. Weather is cold and foggy. I am going to eat peking duck and dumplings now. Btw, pls send me EPL football results. TQ"

Clearly I am very loved.

Next year when I start college, I aspire to dress fashionably every day. YES, every day. I will do my own laundry. I will never have jeans and t-shirt days (unless I'm lazing about at home). With the exception for going to the pasar malam and going for Salsa classes.

My biggest dream (ok, one of them) is to go to Japan and to have my photo taken by Shoichi Aoki for FRUiTS. I've planned it already; I'll pack all my ugliest clothes, throw them all on at one go and lurk around the Shibuya/Harajuku area throughout my stay. It's bound to work people. And when I do get my photo taken, you'll know cause I won't be able to shut up about it. HA!

Today was an uneventful day. I actually stayed up till 6 o' clock in the morning typing, snuck downstairs to post and fell asleep at 7 only to wake up again at 12 for lunch. During that span of 5 hours, I managed to garner 64 reviews and still counting.

I AM TRULY AMAZING.

(j/k)

You know who is though?

Joe Jonas.

I won't lie.

One minute can be look all innocent and charming...

Then fucking hell, BAM! He turns out with pictures like this:
Look at that chest. Look at that chest. Should I say it again?

Oh yes.

LOOK AT THAT CHEST.

WOW.

LOOK AT THOSE EYES.

STARING INTO MY SOUL.

It's like he's thinking: "I'm HOT SHIT and you know it. Now EAT IT, bitch!"

I kiss that magazine every night.

Again I'm (j/k). I dreamt about that photo once though. It wasn't anything dirty, sadly. :(

SWEET,CUTE,INNOCENT, DOE EYED JOE or HOT, SEXY, TIGHT PHILIP LIM SHIRT, MARC JACOBS BELT WEARING JOE.

I'm torn.

You can tell I'm creatively drained now. I can't even put myself up to type a scathing review of the crapfest that was Twatlight.

However there 2 things awesome about the movie. One of them shall be Jasper.
And Dr. Carlisle. BRB LOOKING FOR HOT PHOTOS OF HIM.jsakldjklajdskladj!!!!!!!!!!

Procrastination

I'm actually writing here cause I'm procrastinating from updating something else and I'm scared to check my inbox cause of all the hate mail I know I'm getting for being so very late to update. Hooray!

And I realise no one knows what I'm talking about.

Truth is, I've currently got writer's block. URGH. Creativity will hit me sometime but it's only enough to fill like half a page. HOW TO BE FUNNY? HOW TO THINK OF JOKES??? I CAN'T FILL A CHAPTER. NONONONONO STOP SAYING YOU LOVE ME CAUSE IT GIVES ME PRESSURE TO UPDATE. *sobs*

But when they tell me they love, it makes me feel all warm and tingly inside. And that JBFFA trophy looks very shiny to me right now...>:)

And I might co-write with my favourite author. YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and I got a new blog. Mostly fashion posts but I need to tweak it a little. Be prepared to change links, cause I'm starting to hate this one.

x Nic

And today I went to Bangsar with Sammie. I FOUND TEA & SYMPATHY!! AND I BOUGHT NEW GLADIATORS!!!

Will show em off later.

Twilight + New Moon + whatever else...

So yeah as the title says. I've been using the August Hari Raya holidays to catch up on my (much needed) reading and I just so happened finally managed to borrow New Moon from Zoee. Everyone knows what I thought about the hype around these books and I've said it once, I'll type it out this time.

I've never read such utter garbage in my life.

Seriously? How could anyone go through the whole book? Because the whole time I was reading it the same questions kept repeating in my head...

"Okay, so he goes away...then what?" "Oh...so?" "Okay...what's the point?" "Who cares?" "Now what?"

And these would seem like really legitimate questions if I asked them in anticipation, but I'm not. I'm asking them in a deadpan sort of way. What is really the point of this book? It's not like Harry Potter where at least we know where Harry is going and what he's after so now we're reading the filler bits with a little bit of mystery and mayhem thrown in between, but with the Twilight series it's like, Okay, so she loves this boy, he goes away. Okay so he's gone, she meets another guy.....DO I REALLY CARE??? WHAT IS SHE AFTER???!?!?!?!?!

I don't really know the real reason why I'm even reading this series in the first or why I feel so compelled to finish it. All I know is that Inessa says when you hate something you have to know what it's about or what you're insulting before you can insult it - and that is quite utterly true.

Even so, I'm subjecting myself to torture for no reason. It's not like its the greatest love story I've read - Hell, you're talking to the Queen of Mills and Boon romances. The worst part is I went on Amazon and some reviewer said that this book was perfect for teaching teens about abstinence.

WHAT THE FUCK, NO WONDER THERE WAS NO LUST. and I don't mean bloodlust

Where's the sexual tension? Where's the teasing? Where's the sexual frustration? Yes, abstinence is good and all for we all don't want to end up like Jamie Lynn Spears but for Heaven's sake if I'm not allowed to have sex in real life at least let me live vicariously through fictional characters. If I can't have sex and get pregnant, then let Bella have sex and get pregnant! When I think about vampires, I think about hot Gods all sexually repressed ready to bite and do the next beautiful pale thing he sees like those fanfics one used to read in abundance on Quizilla.com OKAY!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I saw D working in One Utama today. I guess that's why I feel so emo. :(

On another (more positive) note: I think Robert Pattinson (R.Patzz!) is perfect for the role of Edward. I've seen several spoilers and on-set photos (Twilight Tuesday on ONTD ;D) and mama mia, does he look extremely sexy. Just the type of guy one can imagine to be a devastatingly handsome vampire WHO IS A WOMANIZER AND WANTS TO HAVE SEX WITH LOTS OF GIRLS

Bowl-ed Over

In my last entry about two days ago, I blogged about bowler hats. Well guess what? Not even 24 hours after posting that I went out with my uncle to One Utama a mere 10 hours later to watch The Other Boleyn Girl and I came home clutching my new round wool/felt prize - my bowler hat!

BOOYAH!

I don't care what anyone says, "I'm a fashion victim", "Charlie Chaplin copycat", "You'll never wear it" etc etc, what's most important is that I love it and paid good money for it when I spotted it in the shop (I won't name which one; my secret! hahaha) while trawling around with my uncle trend spotting. Yes, we trend spot and take photos of shop windows because my uncle is so cool like that. (Overhaul of tartan/Vivienne Westwood inspired clothes this season, looks like punk is back even though it's dead)

Do you like my T-shirt? Don't you love my T-shirt? Of course you do! It's this year's birthday present from Rachel featuring Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who. Wow, how did she know I love receiving clothes for my birthday AND am in love with Dr. Seuss? See it shows who your friends are and how well they know you.
Even better was when I went to Amcorp Mall with my mother today to borrow books when I FINALLY spotted the August issue of Teen Vogue that I've been hunting around for. Imagine my utmost happiness when I flipped to the editorials and found the model wearing this....

Then I logged onto the Internet for my usual ONTD gossip fix and found new pap pictures of Rachel Bilson in LAX sporting this...

Yes I seem that I am posting all these pics to justify my new purchase, so shuddup! >:P

Tell Me Something I Don't Know

This blog is really on the verge of dying isn't it? I know I know, blame it on exams and poor internet connection (what's new?)

Despite all that, I've had time to do my own thing on the net and I've got fans! So far 267 reviews (since 31 August) , a Spanish translation and I'm nominated in the JBFFA, WOAH. I'm most 5th most reviewed story and number 1 favourite story AND author. YEAH!!!!!

I know sounds dumb from your point of view but I'm actually quite proud of myself. I worked hard during the holidays on this particular project and am actually steaming through, something I've never really done before. It's usually one post here, one post there then the whole interest dies. But not this one, nope, I've got tons of ideas to play out plus the positive reviews are kind of good motivation. ;)

And I realise that I have lost most of you at this point.

My bad.

My 'Another Cinderella Story' download finished today and I've got to say it's a....

TERRIBLE MOVIE. Seriously, I'm usually a sucker for B grade films and cheesy teen fare but this was seriously bad. Not even my supposed hatred but secret fascination for Selena Gomez could save this one. And the lead guy Drew Seeley who played Joey Parker is UGLY. The acting was ok, the dancing was good but the storyline was a tad bit fast and did not develop enough to be believable. Like, seriously? "I've been searching everywhere for you!"

No shit Sherlock, you only searched for the girl in the cafeteria while sitting on your fat ass.

And what's with me and watching bad B grade Disney movies these days?

Oh right, I love Disney.

Sorry, I forgot. -_-

As for the movie's title track (see blog title :D), it personally reflects my mood towards circumstances in life right now. Ho hum.

Get a clue.

before I go, thought I'd show you this really weird review I got today. idk, it's weird.

"wow, i really, really like this....youve gotta keep writing, haha now ive gotta go back and make comments on the others, i thot i was coming late in the writing, but looks like im right in the middle, thats kinda cool....ok so um ya, lol AKWARD! (haha i hope your character is like this underneath)

o, where do you live?????? cuz i just started school at the end of august... we wont have exams for quite a while, actually im out for a whole week, that sounds good but it really sucks, cuz then we have to make it up later, stupid hurricane ike, at least im really lucky and i have power, the majority of people dont, everybody comes to our house and eats like dinner and watches TV, last night there was a total of 11 kids in our house, and there are only 4 of us, so ya lots

so ok, your story, i love it, i love how she loves pink electronics, i personally dont, but sometimes i do when there not mine, cuz then i dont always hav to look at them, i can just admire from a distance....o in the last one, is her nickname Kateh, pronounced kinda like ka-tay?, cuz my nickname is that, and it kinda freaked me out that she had the same one, if she does, i just couldnt figure out how to say it,

srri for the super long boring comment/review type thing, its kinda like 2:43 am right now, so im really tired, i used to be hyper on the night sky, i was like jumping up and down, but idk wat happened to me, its most likely lack of sleep

you know wat sounds really good right now? sugar cookies, like the homemade ones that we make at my house, from my nanas recipe, with that good icing on it, like the kind of icing we had for lisas cake! haha my friends birthday is the same day as nick j's! but shes a year younger, exactly so.......

HAPPY B-DAY LISA AND NICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

We Rock

Guess who has fans. ;D *coughs*

Went for my first Salsa party yesterday! After lots of coaxing, begging and just sheer persistence from Sammie, I decided to join her and Han Liang for the night, thinking that D might be there. Party started at 10 and finally managed to stumble home at 1 a.m. in the morning to my father watching stupid football. Overall I guess I was glad I went, turned out better than I expected and I got to dance with many people I don't even know. It was fun doing intuitive dancing and you could see all the pros that night, showing off all their awesome moves. I'd like to apologize to all the men that asked me to dance, I'm sorry if I screwed up your routine and I hope you forgive me. :D

D wasn't there by the way. :(

Better go, I gotta study and then write some more. It feels great to be writing again, I CAN FEEL THE EXHILARATION OF HAVING FANS. WHOOOOOO.

I'll never tell people in real life my account, never! Go find it yourself on a site you think I hang out in. :P

I Feel Like 14 Again

I feel like I'm 14 again these holidays. Not because I did a lot of exercise (omg Thursday X_x, stupid Wii) but because I have been catching up on my Disney shows! :D Omg, who knew all the new Disney shows were so nice to watch?? I already love Hannah Montana, but now there's Witches of Waverly Place, then Camp Rock is coming, Cory in the House, The Suite Life of..., and that new monster show about a mom being a fairy and a dad as an ogre whatever it's called; WOW I FEEL SO YOUNG.

But then again, I was a cool 14 year old. I never watched Disney and my favourite movies were Party Monster and Transamerica. My favourite band was My Chemical Romance (omg) and Fall Out-freaking-Boy.

Now, thanks to E! and the new Astro mag plus the lovely internet, I everyday I log onto the internet take one look at his face and feel like ripping my heart out and giving it to him. He's like the highlight of my day, the sunshine above my head, the spring in my step. I dream about him, listen to him, think about him, omg it's...

AHHH JOE JONAS!

*smacks self*

Lol, I bet you all thought I was talking about D, huh? Don't worry, he's still in my heart and I'll be seeing him tomorrow. Hopefully. SO EXCITED!

Flushed Down the Jonas Toilet

If I fail my trials I can only blame myself and...

not Super Junior
not Dong Bang Shin Ki
not Japanese dramas
not even Kazuya or KAT-TUN.

Let's all now point our fingers to the JONAS BROTHERS! *claps*

Shit them lah, because of those crappy Akame fanfic writers I was forced to find solace in some other romantic pairing and then I caught a glimpse of the new Astro mag with them on the cover and a lightbulb just went up.

DING DING DING HELLO JOE!

Join me my dear friends, as we go fulfill our Guilty Pleasures

31 CHAPTERS, WOW!

OH MY GOD, I'M UPDATING

OH MY GOD, MY INTERNET CONNECTION ACTUALLY LOADED THIS PAGE!!

I have updated in like forever only because of my SHITTY connection these days. Seriously, it takes nearly 15 minutes to load a damn page. And my computer has been infected with virus. AND, my Streamyx is hating me. I don't how I live. THE INTERNET GODS HATE ME!!!!

Talking about other Gods, the SALSA GODS HATE ME!!!!!! Stupid bitch with long hair, Sammie came over just now so I could help her with her long-delayed EST project (which I screwed up, oops sorry), stayed up till 12 talking about crap and have decided to name that Desmond stealing bitch Old Jeans. Because she wears old jeans that ride low on her hips and polo shirts that are too small and ride high up to her stomach thus exposing LOTS of flesh to D. THAT POTENTIAL BOYFRIEND STEALING MOTHERF*CKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

see, it's not my fault he's so cute and funny. :) D, Don't go breaking my heart....

Tons of things are happening. The MTV contest, the AFS results, Golden Jubilee concert, Inessa's pot luck, D-days, clothes shopping, watching Dark Knight. But I haven't blogged about them because....

MY INTERNET SUCKS. And now I'm lazy. So until my internet has decided to be good and behave (like today), I'm signing off. I have yet to rant about irritating people in my life. School, dance class, people I've met but never kept in touch for obvious reasons (KRYSTLE'S STALKER, gawd even her comments make me cringe), tuition, in McDonald's....URGH.

So till next time, (and hopefully soon...)

Trapped Between A Rock and A Hard Place

I seriously am the BM peribahasa "seperti katak di bawah tempurung" personified. Just discovered Timbaland's "The Way I Are" song today after repeatedly listening to it in the Curve and was shocked to find out it was released last year.

Gawd, I'm seriously...

It doesn't beat LOVEJUICE though. ;D

Killing Me Softly

My computer may be back but my Streamyx connection sure damn as hell aint. I don't what I'm using right now but turns itself on everytime I start the computer and calls itself Local Are Connection - whatever that is. What pisses me off too is that it is EXTREMELY SLOW. Killing me, KILLING ME SOFTLY.

More updates of my life. New haircut; this time I went to my mother's usual stylist in One Utama, Nick. I'm definitely using him as well now instead of the usual place in Amcorp. For one thing, he speaks ENGLISH, and he UNDERSTANDS what I want my hair to look like. *gasp!*

More stress from Sabina, I have officially quit the Golden Jubilee. Ganbatte to everyone else. I shall be in the audience watching from my RM30 seat. :( Rachel, Vivian and I are going shopping tomorrow for dresses to wear as well as to sing our hearts out in karaoke. This session is definitely to make up for the nightmare that was the afternoon after Ceriathon. I would not like to elaborate anymore.

Went to watch Wanted with Sammie and her friend Shaun today. I found out that some boys are useless. Anyway, Sammie drove us (with her parents too, duh) and oh so conveniently forgot to turn off her headlights. Stuck in Cineleisure waiting for the mechanic to come over and jumpstart her car. Ohoho. See, this is what happens when we pray to the Shoe Gods. We have to compensate somewhere. :(

That's not the point though, point is JAMES MCAVOY IS FREAKING HOT. I'd even wager to say he's hotter than BEN BARNES. Yes, *THAT* hot!! Go watch WANTED! What are you waiting for? It's awesome, I went just for James McAvoy alone and ended up squealing, holding my breath and bopping along to the hot ass soundtrack playing in the background. Oh, and not to mention James and Angelina fans get their money's worth. Angelina gets a naked scene (well her naked back anyway) and James is all hubba hubba hot, all wet and ripped and half naked in jeans and in a beat up black leather freaking jacket.

See? Look at me! I can't even type out a proper sentence because right now I'm all giddy just thinking about James' hotness half-naked wielding a damn gun with that hot ass music playing in the damn background. By the way, if anyone knows the title of the song playing in the closing credits, please let me know. :) thanks.

Yesterday was also fun I guess. Hung out at Vivian's for awhile but not long enough. Then Krystle came over for a while too. And after tuition I went over to Ines' for her potluck party and kicked ass in Taboo. Well, I'd like to think so.

Overall as you can see, this post is not at all coherent or making any sense. But I think it's obvious I'm having a fun-filled exciting weekend. Or so I'd like to think. I hope I'll start posting more regularly and coherently and not so sporadically. Hope.

Stripper

Honestly, bottom of the food chain those people. If I could zap everyone that irritates me, there would be a lot less stress in my life. Like last night when I got irritated at Woody Allen in SCOOP because I never knew he is SUCH A RIDICULOUS, IRRITATING, BUMBLING FOOL. Nothing against his work, but I hope in future movies, Woody shall stay BEHIND the camera, not in IN FRONT.

Much awaited day was Monday. My optimistic side thinks it went okay; I could've babbled less. My pessimistic side thinks there is no more hope when I remember how I practically sat in front of the interviewer in stunned silence when he asked me who the Menteri Besar of Selangor is. Or the Sultan. Or the King. Or the Minister of Education.

Who. The. Fuck. Cares.

If they did their job well I would've have known who they are. Unfortunately, they don't, thus they aren't famous enough. I know the Head Police Chief's name because he is famous enough. Thus, he does his job.

YOU WANT ME TO KNOW YOUR NAME? PUT IT ON BIG BILLBOARDS/TABLOIDS AND NOT MAKE IT SO FREAKING LONG. Why the hell can remember you when your name is Whatever Piece of Crap bin/binti More Rubbish? You want to know why people remember Britney's or Lindsay's name or hell, Gael Garcia Bernal's name better than yours? Because it's short. And simple. Britney. Spears. Lindsay. Lohan. Gael. Garcia. Bernal. Jake. Gyllenhaal.

I propose we should have a paparazzi for Menteri Besar's and other Ministers. You want me to know your name? Do something scandalous and splash it all over the tabloids. I'll read it for sure. I'll remember your name for sure. For sure, for life.

Other than that I would say I was quite satisfied with my day. Other than a few minor setbacks and disappointments (and shock), I did the best that I could and if I'm not good enough, I shudder to think who they chose over me instead.

Overall, I made lots of new friends, met some old ones and had fun. Oh, and met some faces behind the blogs I've been reading for the past few months. *ahem*

Some more other news...

Father is finally back which means my computer is finally getting fixed. *hurrah* And with my father came four boxes of kimchi and chilli powder with a due date of late July. Therefore, I'm having kimchi everyday. Kimchi soup and fried rice on Tuesday. Today I had kimchi beef and kimchi fried rice. Kimchi kimchi kimchi kimchi; I'm still craving it. I can practically eat it raw by itself with nothing else as a damn snack. In fact, I think I'll do that right now.

And yay for Sammie! She found the stripper song I was hoping to look for when my computer gets back. It was played in Gossip Girl the episode where Blair performs a striptease for Chuck in Victrola (OTP OMG). HEY STRIPPER. LA LA LA LA LA.
